The Bellini Designer Range BDR603TBX is a discontinued 60 cm wall-canopy rangehood, but its public listing does not reveal the performance or noise scores needed for a firm verdict on how well it works. CHOICE lists its core specifications; Bellini has a current page and manual for a similarly named BDRA603TBX, but the available sources do not establish that it is the same model or revision. If you are considering a used unit or sourcing parts, confirm the appliance’s exact model and check compatibility before buying.
What the public review can—and cannot—tell you
CHOICE lists the BDR603TBX as discontinued and identifies it as a 60 cm stainless-steel wall canopy hood. Its public page marks the Expert Rating, performance, ease-of-use and noise results as members-only. Those scores are therefore not available here, so the public information does not support calling the hood quiet, powerful, recommended or poor.

Ducted or recirculating: what to check
Ducted installation
Bellini’s manual for the related BDRA603TBX/BDRA903TBX says extraction mode requires ducting to outside. It also warns against discharging exhaust into a roof cavity or an in-use heating flue. Because the manual names BDRA models rather than the reviewed BDR603TBX, verify that it applies to your exact appliance before using it as installation guidance. The manual recommends that installation and maintenance be carried out by a suitably qualified and competent person in accordance with relevant safety regulations.
Recirculating installation
In recirculation mode, the related-model manual describes charcoal filters that remove cooking smells, with cleaned air returned through grilles in the upper chimney. Recirculation is not the same as ducting fumes outdoors. Confirm the correct manual and filter fit for the exact unit before choosing this setup.

Carbon filters: the model numbers do not match
CHOICE lists two charcoal filters for the BDR603TBX, replaced every three months, and identifies them as GSM CFA120. Bellini’s current page for the related BDRA603TBX instead lists CF110. The sources do not establish that these identifiers are interchangeable or that either fits every BDR603TBX revision.

The available public information is enough to assess basic fit and configuration, but not cooking-fume extraction, noise or ease of use. For a used unit, inspect its condition and verify that the controls, lights, fan, filters and duct route suit your kitchen; the public listing does not establish the condition or remaining life of any individual appliance.

When comparing another hood, look for accessible test results as well as width and depth, installation clearance, duct size and route, ducted or recirculating setup, replacement-filter availability and cost, lighting, warranty terms and current availability. CHOICE’s public BDR603TBX page does not disclose its test scores, so comparisons based on that listing should stay within the specifications it actually publishes.
