How the bean-to-cup workflow works
Whole beans go into an integrated grinder
The core convenience is that the CEG5311X accepts whole beans in its built-in hopper and grinds them inside the machine. Five coarseness settings give you a limited but useful adjustment range. A finer setting generally changes how quickly water meets resistance in a coffee puck, while a coarser setting generally allows faster flow; however, Beko does not publish a grind chart, extraction recipe or laboratory results for this model. Make adjustments gradually and use the local manual’s instructions, because the correct direction and timing for changing the grinder can differ between designs.
The 160 g hopper figure is a capacity specification, not a promise of a fixed number of drinks. Actual servings depend on the dose selected by the machine, bean density and how often you refill. Keep the hopper protected from heat, moisture and direct sunlight, and avoid treating the capacity as a recommendation to leave beans sitting for long periods.
Choose a programmed volume
Beko lists three selectable beverage volumes: 40 mL, 120 mL and 190 mL. These are programmed or selected output choices in the product information; they should not automatically be interpreted as standard single-espresso, double-espresso and mug definitions. The 40 mL option is the smallest listed volume, while 190 mL is the largest. If you routinely use a particular cup, measure how much it holds and choose the setting that leaves adequate headroom.

The New Zealand page describes one-touch LCD control for single or double shots. That tells you the interface offers direct selection of those shot modes, but it does not establish how much coffee each mode doses, whether the volume can be reprogrammed, or how the display guides cleaning. Those details belong to the model-specific manual, which Beko publishes for the CEG5311X at this official PDF.

Milk: a wand-based system, not a confirmed automatic carafe
Milk handling is the most important point to clarify before buying. The Australian sheet calls the product a “Bean to Cup Espresso Machine with Milk Wand,” and New Zealand describes a steam wand. The Philippines page uses the phrase “Integrated milk frother allows easy in-machine frothing, perfect for cappuccinos or lattes.” These are manufacturer descriptions, but they do not prove that the machine has an automatic milk carafe or an unattended one-touch cappuccino cycle.
Plan on manual milk preparation unless your local manual explicitly documents an automatic program. In practical terms, that means filling a suitable pitcher, positioning the wand or steamer, introducing steam and controlling the texture yourself. Beko’s published descriptions do not establish steam pressure, milk temperature, warm-up time or the exact wand-control sequence, so those are not rated here. Manual steaming gives you direct control over foam texture but requires more involvement and a wipe-and-purge routine after use.
Before purchase, inspect the regional listing or manual for three details: whether the supplied part is called a steam wand or frother, whether a separate control starts steam, and whether the wand has a removable sleeve or tip for cleaning. Do not assume that wording on one country’s page describes every CEG5311X sold worldwide.

Counter-space requirements
The published footprint is 18.6 cm wide and 41 cm deep, with a height of 32 cm and a listed weight of 7.5 kg. The narrow width can help on a crowded counter, but the 41 cm depth is substantial relative to the front width. Measure the surface from the wall to its front edge, then add room to open the removable water tank, empty the drip tray and access the bean hopper. The specification does not state the clearance needed above or behind the machine, so leave practical working space rather than fitting it tightly into a cabinet.

Because the tank and drip tray are detachable, a placement that looks acceptable when the machine is idle may be awkward during daily maintenance. Confirm that you can lift the tank out without hitting an upper shelf and slide the tray forward without moving the machine. These are placement checks based on the listed removable parts, not measured clearance requirements.
Water, beans and drink capacity
1.5 L removable water tank
The 1.5 L tank is removable according to Beko’s Philippines and Australian specifications. Tank capacity is a maximum fill volume, not a guaranteed number of cups: brewing, rinsing and steam use all consume water. If you make several milk drinks, expect steam and cleaning cycles to reduce the amount available for coffee. Use fresh drinking water and follow any water-hardness or filter instructions in your market’s manual; the published feature list does not specify a filter or an approved water-treatment cartridge.
160 g hopper
The Australian sheet and Türkiye page list a 160 g bean container. This is enough to hold several sessions’ worth of beans for many households, but the machine does not publish a servings-per-fill figure. Keep the hopper dry and refill according to your routine instead of filling it far in advance if coffee freshness matters to you.
Adjustable outlet and cup placement
Beko lists an adjustable nozzle or outlet. That should help position the coffee stream for different cup heights, although no adjustment range is published. Check that your preferred cup fits under the outlet at the chosen 40, 120 or 190 mL setting and that there is room to remove it without catching the spout.

Cleaning and descaling
Cleaning is better supported than many of the machine’s performance claims. The Australian specification sheet lists auto-cleaning and descaling functions and says the box includes a cleaning brush and a descaling sample. Beko Türkiye also lists automatic descaling. These features indicate that the machine can run guided maintenance cycles; they do not establish how often to run them, how long they take or which parts can go in a dishwasher.
Use the supplied manual for the exact procedure and interval. The official CEG5311X manual is available at Beko’s document link. Do not infer a schedule from the tank size or from the words “auto-clean.” Automatic programs still require you to empty containers, add the correct descaler when prompted and rinse parts as instructed.
Routine tasks to plan for
- Empty and rinse the removable drip tray regularly so used water does not overflow.
- Rinse the removable water tank when refilling and keep its exterior dry before reinstalling it.
- Brush away coffee residue where the manual identifies accessible areas; the Australian sheet confirms a cleaning brush is included.
- After milk steaming, follow the manual’s wand-cleaning instructions immediately. Milk residue hardens quickly and can obstruct a steam tip.
- Run the machine’s cleaning or descaling program only with the product and quantities specified for your regional model.
The frequency of these tasks depends on use and water hardness. Beko’s published pages do not provide a universal interval, so a calendar copied from another machine could be wrong.
What is known—and not known—about performance
The Philippines page’s 19-bar figure is a pump-pressure specification. It is not an independently measured brewing pressure and, by itself, does not prove better extraction or richer crema. Likewise, the 1,350 W rating describes electrical input, not a measured warm-up time or steaming speed.

Beko does not publish independent measurements for brew temperature, grinder consistency, shot timing, milk temperature, noise, energy use, durability or taste. Beko’s feature descriptions establish what the machine is designed to do, not how it performs against another espresso machine. A responsible buying decision should therefore weigh workflow and service terms more heavily than the headline pressure number.
Regional model differences and ownership terms
Availability is not global or constant. On the cited regional pages, Beko Philippines and Beko New Zealand showed no online retailers on their CEG5311X product pages. That is a snapshot of those regional pages, not proof that the model is unavailable everywhere.
Warranty language also varies. The Australian specification sheet states a two-year replacement warranty, while Beko UK’s related CEG5311 page states one year. The UK page is for CEG5311 rather than the exact CEG5311X suffix, so it should not be used as the warranty for an X-branded unit without confirmation. Ask the seller or Beko service team to confirm the exact model number, warranty type, coverage period and country of purchase.

A good fit for

- Drinkers who mainly need selectable short, medium and larger coffee volumes rather than extensive recipe programming.
- Users comfortable steaming milk manually and cleaning a wand after every milk session.
- Buyers who can verify local stock, voltage, support and warranty before paying.
Look elsewhere if you require
- A confirmed automatic milk carafe or unattended cappuccino workflow.
- Published evidence of low noise, precise temperature control, fast heat-up or long-term reliability.
- A documented ground-coffee or decaffeinated bypass, unless the local manual confirms it.
- A universally valid warranty or a stable worldwide supply channel.
Buying checklist for the exact unit
- Match the suffix: Confirm that the listing says CEG5311X, not a similarly named CEG5311 variant.
- Check the regional manual: Verify milk-wand operation, grinder-adjustment instructions, cleaning cycles and whether pre-ground coffee is supported.
- Measure the counter: Allow for the listed 32 cm height, 18.6 cm width and 41 cm depth, plus room to remove the tank and tray.
- Confirm electrical compatibility: Compare the seller’s voltage and frequency with your home’s supply and the unit’s rating plate.
- Confirm what is in the box: The Australian sheet names a cleaning brush and descaling sample; regional packages can differ.
- Get warranty terms in writing: Ask whether coverage is repair, replacement or another remedy and which country handles service.
- Check current stock and price: The cited manufacturer pages do not list current availability or pricing, which can change by market.
