Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →The Beko BCT603IG is a built-in induction hob in the 60 cm product category, with four cooking zones, one flexible zone that Beko calls IndyFlex, and touch controls with 15 power levels. Every specification here comes from Beko’s own product listings and its 2021 specification sheet. No independent measured test of this exact model is established in the sources behind this article, so its cooking speed, heat control and durability remain claims rather than results.
On the published figures, the BCT603IG suits a kitchen that has or can build a 560 × 490 mm opening and an induction-capable electrical supply, and whose owners want four zones with one zone that can join two. Whether it is the right choice depends on the checks below and on whether your pans work with induction.

Who should assess this model
The BCT603IG makes most sense as a like-for-like replacement or a new build where the cut-out and supply are already known. Before looking at features, check these points:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Whether your existing cut-out is close to 560 × 490 mm. Beko’s listing is for that opening, so a different size needs a different hob or a worktop change.
- Whether your supply matches the listed electrical ratings (see the next section).
- Whether you regularly use large pans on two adjacent cooking positions. The flexible zone is the reason to pick this model over a simpler four-zone hob.
- Whether all of your pans are induction-compatible. Beko’s manual says induction-suitable pans are required.
Published specifications
Dimensions and cut-out
Beko lists an installation cut-out of 560 × 490 mm. The hob body is listed at 58 cm wide, 51 cm deep and 4.8 cm high. The body is narrower than the 60 cm product category name suggests, so measure your opening rather than relying on the category label.

Electrical ratings
- Total electric power: 7200 W (7.2 kW), listed on Beko’s 2021 specification sheet for Australia and New Zealand.
- Supply: 220–240 V 1N or 380–415 V 2N, 50 Hz, as listed by Beko.
- Minimum fuse: 16 A × 2 on the 2021 specification sheet. This is a 2021 figure, so confirm the rating against the current product documentation and your local wiring rules before any connection decision.
Zone sizes and power ratings
Beko’s current Australian product page lists the following. Each zone has a standard and a booster rating.
| Zone position | Zone diameter | Standard power | Booster power |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front-left | 180 mm | 1800 W | 3000 W |
| Front-right | 145 mm | 1500 W | 2200 W |
| Rear-left | 180 mm | 1800 W | 3000 W |
| Rear-right | 210 mm | 2300 W | 3700 W |
The 2021 Australian and New Zealand specification sheet gives the rear-right zone as 2.3 kW standard and 3.7 kW booster, matching the current Australian page. The sources do not explain how the 7.2 kW total is shared when several zones run at high power. The booster figures add up to more than the total, so the total should be read as a system limit, not as the sum of the zone values.

- Measure the existing opening. Confirm it is 560 × 490 mm and that the worktop thickness suits the hob’s 4.8 cm body height.
- Check the clearance and ventilation requirements in the manual for the hob and any cabinet below it.
- Compare the supply with the listed options: 220–240 V single-phase (1N) or 380–415 V three-phase (2N), at 50 Hz.
- Confirm the protective device rating required by the current documentation and local rules. The 2021 sheet’s 16 A × 2 minimum should be checked, not assumed.
- Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit and connection before installation. Do not wire the hob from the summary specifications alone.
Controls and listed features
Beko describes the Direct Access Premium control panel as illuminated, with individual touch controls for each zone and 15 power levels. The listed features are:

IndyFlex and automatic functions
Beko’s New Zealand page describes IndyFlex as combining two zones to create a larger cooking area for a bigger pan. The sources do not state which zone positions pair up, or the exact size and power of the combined area, so check the manual for the layout before relying on it for a particular pan.

Cookware check
The model’s manual says pans must be suitable for induction cooking. A pan is suitable when a magnet sticks firmly to its base, though the manufacturer’s guidance should be followed for any borderline case. Check pans on each zone, including the flexible area, before assuming a set will work. No particular cookware set was reviewed for this article.
