What the reported Prime Day deal was
PhoneArena reported on October 5 that the earbuds were just under $180 at Amazon, describing the price as the lowest there to date. Men’s Health listed them at $180 against a $250 reference price on October 6, while WIRED described $180 as matching its best-seen price. Those reports agree on the approximate sale price, but their price-history descriptions differ; an all-time low has not been independently verified.

Men’s Health said October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days ran Tuesday, October 6 through midnight October 7. Its coverage did not specify the timezone for the end time. The event is over, so any renewed discount or current price needs to be checked on the live listing.

The earbuds have an IPX4 sweat and water-resistance rating. The charging case is not sweat or water resistant, so keep it out of wet conditions even if the earbuds are used for a sweaty workout. The package includes five sizes of silicone eartips.
Battery life depends on listening mode
Beats specifies up to 45 hours of listening with the charging case in Adaptive EQ mode, and up to 36 hours with ANC and Transparency enabled. These are manufacturer maximums for different modes, not a single guaranteed runtime across all use. Buyers who expect to use ANC or Transparency should use the 36-hour figure as the relevant published estimate.

How to judge a future discount
The reported $180 price may be a useful reference point, but the available reports do not establish it as a permanent or independently verified record low. Before buying, check the live listing and weigh the product against the way you plan to use it:
- Fit during movement: ear hooks and five eartip sizes address security and fit, but comfort is personal.
- Water exposure: IPX4 applies to the earbuds; the case has no sweat or water resistance.
- Battery expectations: compare the stated runtime for the mode you will use, especially if ANC and Transparency are often enabled.
- Phone ecosystem: check which controls and app features you need on Apple or Android.
- Price: compare the current listing with the reported $180 offer rather than assuming the past deal is still available.
Men’s Health also listed Powerbeats Fit at $160 in its roundup, but the available coverage does not provide a like-for-like test establishing which model is better. Price alone cannot settle a comparison involving fit, features and use.
