What are the main advantages of Beats 360?
Replaceable earcup and headband cushions
Unlike headphones with fixed cushions, Beats 360 is designed so owners can change the earcup and headband cushions. Beats says additional cushion options are available separately. That gives buyers a way to change the look or replace a set, but there is no established evidence here that the design improves hygiene or extends the headphones’ lifespan.

IPX4 resistance for sweat and splashes
Beats gives the headphones an IPX4 rating and describes them as sweat- and water-resistant. That can be useful for workouts where sweat or light splashing is a concern. It is not a waterproof rating: do not submerge the headphones or treat them as suitable for swimming.
ANC and transparency mode
The listed listening modes include ANC, intended to reduce outside noise, and transparency mode, intended to let surrounding sound through. Apple and Android compatibility
Beats advertises compatibility with both Apple and Android devices, and Apple Support provides setup guidance for both. Core pairing is not the same as identical feature access: Beats cautions that functionality may be limited with older Apple software or non-Apple devices. Beats states that Beats 360 offers up to 32 hours of battery life. The figure is a manufacturer claim, not a promise of that runtime with every listening mode, volume level, or usage pattern.

What are the drawbacks of Beats 360?
The US list price is high
Apple’s US product listing showed Beats 360 at $349.99 when surfaced in October 2026. That is a US listing price, not a universal price or assurance of what it will cost later; regional prices, availability, and discounts can differ.

Apple lists extra Beats 360 Cushion Kits and a USB-C charging cable as sold separately. The woven ripstop carrying case is listed as included. If you want spare cushions or need a cable, account for those additional purchases rather than assuming they come in the box.

Fit and sound need a personal check
Comfort and sound preferences vary from person to person. TechRadar’s reviewer described a positive extended experience, but that impression is not a controlled consensus or an objective sound ranking. If possible, try the fit and listen to music you know before committing to the purchase.
Is Beats 360 worth it for your use?
Beats 360 is more compelling if you value replaceable cushions, both ANC and transparency modes, and compatibility with either Apple or Android devices—and you are comfortable with the US list price and separately sold accessories. It is a less certain fit if your decision depends on proven comparative ANC or sound performance, guaranteed battery runtime, or universal comfort: the available evidence does not establish those outcomes.

For a fair comparison with another over-ear model, check the same factors for both: price and included accessories; fit, weight, and cushion replacement; water-resistance rating; independently measured ANC and sound quality where comparable tests exist; battery life under stated conditions; and which features work with your phone and software.
