To complete “No Gear Left Behind” (Act 2, Chapter 3), follow the objectives in order: find Charlie Squad, reach and clear the Muster Point, defeat the Seeder, then follow Captain Grey through the courthouse and climb aboard the truck. Before boarding, check for Lieutenant Jane Hawkins’s COG tags—the chapter’s final reported collectible is on that route.
This route also covers the six reported Hard Cases and five standard collectibles. A few collectible landmarks differ between guides, so use the named items and areas below as a checklist rather than relying on one disputed exact placement.

What to do in No Gear Left Behind
- Find Charlie Squad. Head toward the underpass south of Kalona Hotel, following the route through the tunnel and rail-track area. Check behind the nearby van and around the underpass for the first two Hard Cases before moving on.
- Reach the Muster Point. Continue south toward the point near Allfathers Plaza. At Victory Plaza, follow the blue objective marker, use cover during the ambush, and push through the right-side corridor or building toward the gold statue. The route guide also notes a Supply Cache in the plaza’s northern area.
- Defeat the Seeder. Keep moving between cover and avoid the Nemacysts. Direct fire at the Seeder’s body is not effective in the described encounter. Throw a Frag Grenade to stagger and drop it, then shoot into its mouth while it is down. Repeat the grenade-and-mouth-shot sequence until it falls, then use cover to deal with remaining enemies.
- Follow Captain Grey. Go through the courthouse and check the left side of the northern hallway for the final Hard Case. Search the route for Lieutenant Jane Hawkins’s COG tags before continuing.
- Board the truck. Climb aboard to finish the chapter; the campaign then proceeds to “Flyboys.”
Where to find the six Hard Cases
The chapter walkthrough and a separate checklist report six Hard Cases. Their contents include weapon and armor mods; collect them as you pass through each area.

| 1 | South of Kalona Hotel, behind a truck | High Capacity Mag (Gnasher); Ammo Scavenger armor mod |
| 2 | Near the underpass south of Allfathers Plaza | Proximity Regen armor mod; Auto-Canister (Incinerator) mod |
| 3 | Victory Plaza, at a park corner | Springloaded Mag (Lancer Mk1) |

For the plaza cases, circle the statue to locate stairs, then go left to reach a second-floor container. Return to street level to check the park and scaffolding area and the exit gate. The last case is on Captain Grey’s route, so search the northern hallway before leaving the courthouse area.

All five reported standard collectibles
- COG Tags of Private Sal Harkniss
- COG Tags of Private Siv Strickland
- Bloodied Spike
- Ink-Covered Wrench
- COG Tags of Lieutenant Jane Hawkins
The two privates’ tags are reported in the opening underpass or tunnel area. The Bloodied Spike is associated with a gated alley and body area, while the wrench is reported near the train rails or in the statue plaza. Guides do not agree on every exact early landmark, so check tunnel bodies and the edges of the plaza if an item is missing. The War Journal chapter count can help confirm whether you have found them.
