Dance Attire is found in a Strongbox beside a Wandering Merchant in the Fuji Frontier Zone. Use the Collapsed Pipe(s): Approach campsite as your map reference, follow the route north, pass the wooden doors, and open the chest in the merchant area. The merchant is a landmark; Dance Attire is obtained from the Strongbox rather than purchased.
The location is consistent across walkthroughs, while the listed defense value varies between armor roundups. The most detailed location guide reports 39 Defense, six Spirit Stone slots, Low Enemy Awareness, and 60 Flame and 60 Lightning Resistance.

Where to find Dance Attire
Travel to the Fuji Frontier Zone and select the campsite labeled Collapsed Pipe(s): Approach. Different guides abbreviate or punctuate the name as “Collapsed Pipe Approach” or “Collapsed Pipes: Approach,” but they describe the same area. The surrounding zone and campsite are more reliable landmarks than a chapter number.

From the campsite, take the route that climbs north or uphill. Continue beyond the wooden doors until you reach the area occupied by a Wandering Merchant. A Strongbox sits beside the merchant. Open that chest to collect Dance Attire.

A separate Fuji Frontier walkthrough describes the same sequence as heading north from the zone to a merchant and a chest containing the armor. This agreement matters because the merchant can make the location look like a shop purchase: the item is in the chest, not in the merchant’s inventory.
Route from the campsite
- Enter the Fuji Frontier Zone and travel to the Collapsed Pipe(s): Approach campsite.
- Face the upward, northbound path and follow it away from the campsite.
- Keep moving past the wooden doors rather than searching the campsite itself for a chest.
- Look for the Wandering Merchant in the next merchant area.
- Open the Strongbox directly beside the merchant and collect Dance Attire.
Why chapter labels can be confusing
Search listings identify this portion of the game as Fuji Frontier and variously index it as Chapter 6 or by the chapter title “Necrosis.” Chapter numbering can differ by guide presentation. If your guide uses a different number, match the Fuji Frontier Zone, the Collapsed Pipe(s): Approach campsite, and the merchant-and-chest landmark instead.
Dance Attire stats
The following figures come from the detailed location guide by NerdsChalk Staff, updated August 12, 2026. They are guide-reported game values, not measurements independently tested for this article.
Rank #2

| Attribute | Reported value | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Defense | 39 | Raw protection value listed for the armor |
| Spirit Stone slots | 6 | Six slots for the player’s defensive or utility customization |
| Enemy Awareness | Low | A lower detection profile than armor with a higher awareness rating |
| Flame resistance | 60 | Protection against Flame damage according to the guide |
| Lightning resistance | 60 | Protection against Lightning damage according to the guide |
Other armor roundups broadly agree on the six-slot count, Low awareness, and the two 60-point elemental resistances. Their tables do not all agree on Dance Attire’s Defense value, so treat 39 as the detailed guide’s reported figure rather than a universally confirmed stat. If your in-game display shows another defense number, trust the value in your current build and version.
What the stat combination means in play
Six Spirit Stone slots
The six slots are Dance Attire’s clearest customization advantage. They let you allocate more of your build’s armor capacity to defense or utility effects than a set with fewer available slots. The guides establish slot flexibility, but they do not establish a guaranteed damage multiplier, stealth bonus, or other specific effect from any particular stone. Choose stones according to the threats and mechanics you are actually using rather than assuming the slots create a fixed passive benefit.
Low Enemy Awareness
Low awareness favors players who want to avoid detection or keep encounters from escalating immediately. It is particularly relevant to a stealth-oriented approach, scouting, and routes where being seen creates additional enemies or pressure. Awareness is a trade-off variable, not a promise that enemies will never notice you; line of sight, distance, movement, and other game systems still matter.
Rank #3
- COMPANION COMBAT — Fight as Emma while commanding Koo, the blighted dog, to unleash powerful techniques, creating a unique action RPG battle system built around teamwork and strategy.
- POST APOCALYPTIC JAPAN — Explore the haunting beauty of Japan in the year 4026, where flourishing forests emerge from a blighted wasteland filled with danger, mystery, and discovery.
- CUSTOMIZE YOUR PLAYSTYLE — Shape Emma’s abilities through skill trees, gear, and spirit stones, allowing you to specialize in ranged, stealth, aggressive, or hybrid combat approaches.
- EPIC BOSS HUNTS — Battle formidable Bosses from across the world, capture their powers, and grow stronger on a journey to confront the legendary Beast of Reincarnation.
Flame and Lightning resistance
The paired elemental resistances make the set attractive when the enemies or hazards in your current section use Flame or Lightning damage. Resistance is most useful when it matches the incoming threat. Against attacks of another type, those two entries contribute less to survival than raw Defense or a resistance that addresses the actual damage source.

The reported Defense value is not the highest figure associated with armor comparisons. That does not make Dance Attire unusable: armor selection depends on the balance between raw protection, relevant resistances, slot count, and awareness. A player who values detection avoidance and customization may prefer this profile over a heavier set.
How to decide whether Dance Attire fits your build
Evaluate the set in this order before replacing your current armor:
Rank #4
- CLASSIC GAMEPLAY: Based on the classic card game of Hearts!
- STRONG THEME: You are a legendary princess, and all the Prince Charmings of the land want your hand in marriage. But you don’t have time for that! Get the fewest marriage proposals and become The Rebel Princess!
- PRINCESS POWER: Each of the 10 legendary princesses comes with a unique player power that breaks the game! Choose from famed princesses such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Snow White, or Rapunzel!
- THRILLING GAMEPLAY: Each of the 5 rounds will have a unique rule that drastically changes the gameplay and how you win. With 20 total round cards, you will have Millions of possibilites!
- HAND DRAWN ART: All 78 components have been enhanced with unique, beautifully hand drawn by famed Spanish artist Alfredo Cáceres.
- Identify the main damage type. If Flame or Lightning attacks are common in the encounter or region, the listed resistances have a direct use. If neither appears, give more weight to Defense and your other defensive options.
- Decide how important detection is. Low Enemy Awareness is valuable for stealth and avoidance. A direct-combat build that rarely tries to remain unseen may gain less from it.
- Count the customization you need. Six Spirit Stone slots are useful when your build depends on several defensive or utility choices. If you use few stones, the extra capacity may not justify giving up raw Defense.
- Compare the complete profile, not one number. A higher Defense value alone does not settle the choice if it comes with higher awareness, fewer slots, or no protection against the damage types you face.
How Dance Attire compares with other armor
An armor roundup from All Things How identifies Floral Wraps and Amber Breastplate as other six-slot choices. It also describes higher-Defense options, but the supplied material does not establish a single, complete set of values for those alternatives. Use the comparison as a decision framework rather than a universal ranking.
| Armor or category | Spirit Stone slots | Enemy Awareness | Elemental resistance | Defense | What the available guides establish |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dance Attire | 6 | Low | Flame 60; Lightning 60 | 39 reported by NerdsChalk Staff | Strongbox beside the Wandering Merchant at Collapsed Pipe(s): Approach |
| Floral Wraps | 6 | Not stated (All Things How roundup) | Not stated (All Things How roundup) | Not stated (All Things How roundup) | Named as another six-slot choice |
| Amber Breastplate | 6 | Not stated (All Things How roundup) | Not stated (All Things How roundup) | Not stated (All Things How roundup) | Named as another six-slot choice |
| Higher-Defense options | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | Higher than some alternatives, exact values not stated | The roundup presents raw Defense as a trade-off against other attributes |
On the evidence available, Dance Attire is distinguished by the combination of six slots, Low awareness, and dual elemental resistance. It is not established as the best armor for every build. Players prioritizing maximum physical protection may choose a heavier option, while players who need slots and a lower detection profile may find Dance Attire more practical.
Common mistakes when searching for the chest
Searching the merchant’s inventory
The Wandering Merchant is a navigation landmark, not the seller of Dance Attire. If no purchase option appears, search the Strongbox immediately beside the merchant.

Stopping at the campsite
The armor is not reported as being inside the campsite. Follow the path upward or north, pass the wooden doors, and continue to the merchant area before looking for the chest.
Using only the chapter number
Guide indexes vary on whether this section is called Chapter 6 and how the chapter title is displayed. Use the zone and campsite names first; they remain useful even when chapter numbering differs.
Assuming a different Defense value means the item is wrong
Armor tables disagree on some Defense entries. Check that you opened the chest at the Fuji Frontier merchant area and that the item name is Dance Attire. Then compare the value shown by your game with the guide-reported figure instead of discarding the item solely because the numbers differ.
A practical loadout checklist
- Confirm that your map places you in the Fuji Frontier Zone.
- Use Collapsed Pipe(s): Approach as the campsite reference.
- Follow the northbound or uphill route beyond the wooden doors.
- Locate the Wandering Merchant and open the adjacent Strongbox.
- Check the armor screen for the slot count, awareness rating, resistances, and Defense value in your version.
- Equip Spirit Stones that address your actual damage, survivability, or utility needs.
- Keep another armor option available if a later encounter favors higher raw Defense or a different resistance profile.
What is firmly established about the item
Three sources converge on the acquisition context: the Fuji Frontier Zone, a chest or Strongbox near a Wandering Merchant, and the Collapsed Pipes/Pipe Approach campsite as the useful route reference. The detailed location guide supplies the full stat line, while All Things How and GamingBolt’s armor coverage corroborate the slot, awareness, and elemental-resistance portions but differ in some table values. GameFAQs’ Fuji Frontier walkthrough independently describes the northward merchant-and-chest route in a PlayStation 5 walkthrough.
Because the available guides do not provide a single independently verified Defense table, present 39 Defense as a reported value with that qualification. The location and chest method are more consistent than the chapter labels or every numerical entry in secondary armor tables.
