Baseus announced the MC2 NC as open-ear, clip-on earbuds with active noise cancellation at IFA 2026. Gizmochina reported on October 5, 2026, that the earbuds had launched in China for 783 yuan (about US$116). The detailed specifications currently available—including the “-50 dB” ANC figure, LDAC and AI features—come from that report, not independent testing or a full official specification sheet.
What are the Baseus MC2 NC earbuds?
The MC2 NC is a clip-on, open-ear earbud model. Baseus’s September 4, 2026 IFA announcement said the product would officially launch in October. That announcement confirms the model and planned launch window; Gizmochina’s October 5 report supplies the China release and price details.

Gizmochina describes a C-shaped clip that sits along the side of the ear, with four-point support and removable, washable silicone cushions in four sizes. It lists each earbud at 5.9 g. The fit is still open-ear: the clip and cushions do not turn it into a sealed in-ear design.
What does “-50 dB ANC” mean?
Gizmochina reports Baseus’s “-50 dB” ANC claim and says the system combines adaptive ANC with the silicone cushions. This is a vendor claim relayed by the outlet, not an independently verified real-world noise-reduction measurement. The available information does not establish how much noise the earbuds reduce in particular environments.
