The U.S. horse-racing wagering service once branded b Spot was identified by its operator as Horseplay in April 2024. Game Play Network says its wagering is subject to applicable state laws, so there is no reliable nationwide yes-or-no answer. Check current eligibility for your location before registering, depositing or wagering.
What is b Spot called now?
If you mean the U.S. real-money gaming service associated with Game Play Network, its former b Spot beta app and website were succeeded by Horseplay. In an April 2024 announcement, Game Play Network said it conducts consumer business through Horseplay.com. That announcement establishes the successor brand, but it does not confirm which features or jurisdictions are available in October 2026.

How does Horseplay work?
Game Play Network described Horseplay as a digital entertainment service in which live horse-race wagers are followed by games whose outcomes correlate with those wagers. The operator said the games include slot-style and matching formats. In other words, its description is not of ordinary games wholly independent of a horse-race wager.

That is the operator’s description of its regulatory basis, not independent confirmation that the service is lawful or available in every state.
Is b Spot legal in Ohio?
A secondary state-availability guide updated in September 2026 lists Horseplay as unavailable in Ohio. Treat that as a current lead, not an official legal determination: the guide is not a state regulator, and availability can change. Check Horseplay’s current location and registration controls and the relevant state authority before trying to use the service.

Ohio’s sports-gaming statutes do not, by themselves, answer whether Horseplay’s online horse-race wagering is permitted. Ohio Revised Code § 3775.12(A) says: “A type B sports gaming proprietor may accept wagers on sporting events that are made in person only from individuals who are at least twenty-one years of age and who are physically present in a sports gaming facility.” That provision addresses in-person Type B sports wagers. It is not a Horseplay-specific ruling about online horse-race wagering.
Ohio Chapter 3775 places sports gaming within the Ohio Casino Control Commission’s jurisdiction and sets sports-gaming licensing requirements. Those rules should not be treated as a substitute for determining the distinct horse-race wagering and advance-deposit permissions on which Game Play Network says its service relies.

Where is Horseplay legal?
There is not enough current official information here to give a complete state-by-state list. Game Play Network’s April 4, 2024 announcement said Horseplay was then live in 18 states and reached 36% of the U.S. population. Those are historical figures published by the operator in 2024, not a statement of 2026 coverage.

- Visit Horseplay’s current official site and review its location and registration controls for your physical location.
- Check the relevant state regulator’s current rules or contact the regulator if the status is unclear. Do not rely on an old availability list as the final word.
- Read the current terms for your location, including account, identity-verification, wagering and withdrawal requirements, before depositing.
If the operator says your location is ineligible, do not try to bypass geolocation or other eligibility checks. Do not assume that being able to open a website means you are allowed to register, deposit or wager.

The available primary announcement explains the service’s former and successor names and how the operator described its wagering model in 2024. It does not establish Horseplay’s current features, a current official list of eligible states, or whether a particular person can register, deposit or withdraw.
