Auvik and Acronis plan to bring network monitoring into Acronis RMM in January 2027, while ESET has introduced three channel-focused PROTECT tiers and Wiz has opened a managed-service-provider program in public preview. ChannelPro’s Oct. 2, 2026, roundup also covers reseller and distribution updates, rugged Panasonic devices, and vendor-reported research and security telemetry.

Auvik network management is planned for Acronis RMM in January 2027

Auvik and Acronis announced an OEM integration on Sept. 30, 2026. The companies expect Auvik network-monitoring and management capabilities to become available within Acronis RMM, which is part of Acronis Cyber Protect, in January 2027. That is a stated target, not confirmation that the integration is generally available now.

The proposed integration is intended to let service providers manage network infrastructure alongside endpoints and servers in one place. For an MSP already using Acronis RMM, the potential operational change is broader visibility from its existing RMM environment; a provider with a separate network-monitoring platform will need to assess whether the planned capabilities cover its workflows before deciding whether to consolidate. The companies describe reduced tool sprawl and more efficient operations as goals, not as independently demonstrated outcomes.

ESET’s new PROTECT tiers vary by minimum seats and response depth

ESET announced the channel-focused portfolio on Sept. 30, 2026. The initial launch covers the United States, Italy and Slovakia, with a phased rollout to other markets planned. ESET describes Core as protecting AI stacks against ransomware, phishing and zero-day threats; higher tiers add managed response and access to human threat-hunting expertise.

Tier Minimum seats Capabilities described by ESET
Core 5 Protection for AI stacks and against ransomware, phishing and zero-day threats.
Premium 10 Core capabilities plus autonomous MDR response supervised by ESET experts 24/7.
Ultimate 10 Premium-level offering plus live access to ESET’s threat-hunting team, with threat analysis and remediation.

ESET says Plus packages can add mail security, multifactor authentication, vulnerability management and patch management. The announcement does not establish pricing or availability in markets outside the initial launch countries.

Wiz’s MSP program is in public preview

Wiz’s Partner Alliance MSP Program is designed for managed service providers delivering cloud and AI security. The company lists centralized multi-tenant management, flexible billing and dedicated support as program features. Its Tenant Manager is intended to provide a portfolio-wide view, group tenants, enforce policies and access customer environments.

Panasonic announced two rugged 2-in-1 TOUGHBOOKs

Panasonic Connect announced the TOUGHBOOK 34 and smaller TOUGHBOOK G3 on Sept. 30, 2026, for field, public-safety, federal, warehouse and other mission-critical work. These are enterprise rugged computers rather than general-purpose consumer recommendations.

Model Display Announcement details
TOUGHBOOK 34 12.4 inches Panasonic says it is certified for Red Hat Device Edge.

Panasonic lists Wi-Fi 7, optional 5G, IP66 and MIL-STD-810H/461G among the announced capabilities, along with differing modular expansion and battery configurations. What the reported MSP research and security telemetry say

ChannelPro also attributes several security figures to Huntress telemetry. They describe the specific periods and signals reported, not the prevalence of every threat across all organizations.
