The official product video gives a fast visual tour of the Zenfone 11 Ultra. It shows the large 6.78-inch AMOLED display, matte and gloss design treatments, rear triple-camera module, gimbal-stabilization hardware, telephoto zoom, battery and charging features, gaming mode, color options and selected AI tools.
ASUS also published a Zenfone 11 Ultra Launch Event Highlight. That clip is announcement footage rather than a hands-on evaluation. The global ASUS video hub provides another regional index of official and external videos.

What ASUS’s footage demonstrates
Large display and gaming mode
The phone uses a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED panel with an adaptive 1–120Hz LTPO range. ASUS advertises up to 2,500 nits peak brightness. The headline 144Hz mode is available through Game Genie while playing supported games; it is not a system-wide 144Hz setting.

Camera hardware
The rear system combines a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with ASUS’s six-axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0, a 13MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 32MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front camera is a 32MP RGBW sensor. ASUS advertises Super HyperSteady video and AI Portrait Video, while the product page lists video modes and AI features that can vary by software version.
A gimbal is a meaningful hardware differentiator, but the video alone cannot show whether walking footage, night stabilization, lens switching, focus behavior, audio or crop quality outperform competing phones. Those are the tests to look for in an independent review.

Performance, battery and connectivity
The US launch model pairs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. ASUS specifies a 5,500mAh battery, 65W wired HyperCharge and 15W Qi wireless charging. It also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, NFC, USB-C, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7 readiness and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
ASUS’s launch material included a laboratory regular-use endurance claim. That figure is not a guarantee: brightness, network conditions, refresh rate, gaming, camera use and applications materially change runtime.

AI and PC-continuity features
ASUS highlights Semantic Search, AI Noise Cancellation, AI Call Translator, AI Transcript and AI Wallpaper, along with GlideX-style PC continuity features. Availability can depend on country, language, region and software release; some functions were marked beta or scheduled for later updates. A promotional demonstration should therefore be read as an example of intended behavior, not proof that every feature works identically on every device.

ASUS lists dimensions of about 6.45 × 3.02 × 0.35 inches and weight of about 0.49 pounds. Listed colors include Skyline Blue, Eternal Black, Misty Grey, Desert Sand and Verdure Green; Desert Sand was a US eShop exclusive at launch. RAM, storage, colors, bundled accessories, warranty and cellular bands vary by market. Imported WW, EU or JP models should not be assumed to have identical US-carrier compatibility; check the exact SKU against ASUS’s regional band comparison.

Why the “Ultra” change matters
The Zenfone 11 Ultra is a major form-factor shift for the series. Earlier Zenfones were associated with compact phones; this model is a large-screen flagship with a large battery, telephoto camera and wireless charging. “Ultra” describes both its hardware ambition and its physical size. Do not buy it expecting Zenfone 10-sized handling.

What the official video cannot tell you
- Sustained performance, throttling and surface temperatures.
- Real battery endurance under your network, brightness and app mix.
- Camera quality in low light, moving subjects and across all three rear lenses.
- Whether stabilization remains smooth during walking, panning and lens changes, or how much footage is cropped.
- AI accuracy, privacy behavior and availability in your language or region.
- How long security and Android updates will continue.
- Compatibility of a particular regional SKU with your carrier.
Is the Zenfone 11 Ultra still worth considering in 2026?
There is evidence of ongoing support: ASUS’s US support page lists firmware 36.0210.1420.48, released July 1, 2026, with the May 1, 2026 Android security patch for the WW/EU/JP SKU. That confirms a current update entry, not a guaranteed future support period.
Consider it if you can buy it at a substantial discount and specifically want the combination of gimbal-assisted main-camera hardware, telephoto zoom, headphone jack, large battery, wireless charging and relatively restrained ASUS software. It is less compelling near its $899.99 launch price, when newer phones may offer fresher hardware or more remaining support. Do not treat the launch MSRP as a current selling price; verify a live listing.
Buying checklist for a 2026 listing
- Confirm the exact regional model and carrier bands.
- Check RAM, storage, color and whether the unit is new, refurbished or open-box.
- Verify seller reputation, warranty geography and return terms.
- Confirm the included charger, cable and case rather than assuming the US launch bundle.
- Check the device’s current Android/security-patch level.
- For used units, inspect display wear, battery health and the camera gimbal for damage.
- Compare the final price with newer flagship alternatives before ordering.
Use the official availability page as a starting point, but do not assume a historical ASUS Store URL or an old marketplace listing is still active.
Bottom line
Watch the ASUS product video for a clear look at the Zenfone 11 Ultra’s size, design, display, gimbal camera and headline features. Watch an independent hands-on or full review to judge battery, thermals, camera consistency and software behavior. In 2026, treat it as a large 2024 flagship and buy only when the current price and remaining support justify its distinctive hardware.
