How the two-screen designs change the way you work
ASUS Zenbook DUO: kickstand and dockable keyboard
The UX8407 is built around an integrated kickstand and a detachable keyboard that attaches magnetically. ASUS describes laptop, desktop, sharing, and dual-screen modes, with screens usable vertically or horizontally for extended, mirrored, or split tasks. That arrangement is a natural fit if you want the option to set up two displays while keeping the keyboard connected to the laptop when not using it separately. ASUS’s US product page calls the dual-OLED form factor distinctive; that is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent assessment.
Lenovo Yoga Book 9i: hinge modes and separate input
The 14IAH10 uses a 360-degree soundbar hinge for laptop, tent, and tablet modes. Lenovo supplies a separate Bluetooth keyboard and supports virtual keyboard and touchpad functions. Its user guide describes traditional, floating, and mini virtual keyboards, a virtual touchpad, and keyboard placement options; some dual-screen functions require extension mode. This is the more flexible documented approach if you want to position a physical keyboard apart from the screens or switch between hinge-based arrangements.

Lenovo’s PSREF lists Yoga Pen support and possible retail bundles with a folio stand, sleeve, or mouse. Those accessories are not guaranteed in every box. ASUS says its stylus is included only in some countries and territories. Confirm contents and compatibility on the exact local listing rather than assuming an accessory is bundled.
Display specifications: refresh rate and HDR peak
Both models have two 14-inch OLED touchscreens at 2880 × 1800 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. ASUS calls its panels 3K and lists a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz; Lenovo calls its panels 2.8K and lists up to 120Hz. ASUS specifies 1,000-nit HDR peak brightness, while Lenovo lists 750 nits. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of brightness or image quality.

Lenovo cautions that actual battery life varies with configuration, software, wireless use, power settings, and screen brightness. The brands’ published figures do not support a runtime winner: Lenovo provides mode-specific benchmark estimates, while ASUS provides battery capacity but no matching runtime test. For travel, compare the complete kit you would carry—including keyboard, charger, and any stand—not just the bare-system weights.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the ASUS if: an integrated kickstand and keyboard that docks to the laptop match your preferred setup, or the listed 144Hz maximum refresh rate is a priority.
- Choose the Lenovo if: you value a 360-degree hinge, want the option to position a separate Bluetooth keyboard, or need its three Thunderbolt 4 ports. Select the 16GB or 32GB memory configuration with care because it is not upgradeable.
- Compare local listings before deciding on value: retail price, stock, configuration, warranty, and included accessories vary by region. There is not enough comparable, same-market pricing here to name a value winner.
Check the exact listing before buying
- Match the model number. Look for ASUS UX8407 or Lenovo 14IAH10, not an older Zenbook DUO UX8406 or a 13-inch Yoga Book 9i.
- Verify the configuration. Check processor, memory, and storage on the regional listing; do not assume every announced option is locally available.
- Confirm what is in the box. Check for the keyboard, stylus, folio stand, sleeve, or other accessories on the specific SKU. Bundle contents are not universal.
- Compare the whole travel setup. Include the keyboard and accessories in the weight you expect to carry, and check the charger and warranty for your market.
