It makes the most sense for players with small hands or buyers building a coordinated Hatsune Miku desk. Its licensed design, rather than a clear performance advantage, is what justifies paying more than a conventional compact gaming mouse.
What the Hatsune Miku Edition offers
ASUS positions this model as part of a wider TUF Gaming collaboration built around Hatsune Miku. The matching collection includes a headset, mousemat and keyboard, so the mouse can serve as the centerpiece of a deliberately coordinated anime setup rather than an isolated novelty.

The mouse uses a compact shell measuring 115 × 63.4 × 37.5 mm and weighs 65 g. That combination should appeal to people who find full-size gaming mice tiring or difficult to control, particularly with fingertip and claw grips. Hand size and preferred grip still matter: compact dimensions can feel cramped for large hands, and the available evidence does not establish a universally best grip.

How it connects and what that means
2.4 GHz for desktop gaming
The USB receiver provides the conventional low-latency wireless connection expected for PC gaming. Gaming Style’s 2026 review reports that the mode is supported, but it does not include an independently measured latency result, range test or interference test. Treat the connection as a specification, not proof of a particular competitive advantage.

Bluetooth for flexible devices
Bluetooth adds a convenient option for compatible laptops and other devices when carrying a receiver is inconvenient. It is useful for general computing and travel, while the 2.4 GHz receiver remains the more natural choice when gaming responsiveness is the priority.
Wired fallback
Plugging in the supplied 2 m paracord turns the mouse into a wired model and avoids dependence on wireless power. No battery-capacity or endurance figure is established here, so buyers who require a specific runtime should confirm the current regional specification before ordering.

Small-hand comfort and everyday handling
The short, narrow, low-profile body is the product’s clearest functional identity. At 65 g, it should require less lifting force than heavier mice, which can help during repeated cursor movement. The trade-off is surface area: users with large hands may prefer a longer or wider shell for palm support.
ASUS includes a grip-tape set, allowing owners to add friction where the printed finish feels slippery. Grip tape changes the effective feel and can slightly increase bulk, so apply it only after deciding where your fingers naturally rest. The mouse’s actual long-term wear resistance has not been independently established; the 100-million-click switch rating is a manufacturer specification, not a durability test of the complete product.

The anime styling is the reason to pay extra
The Hatsune Miku treatment is more than a small logo: it is designed to coordinate with the rest of the collection and includes a matching sticker in the box. Aura Sync logo and underglow lighting reinforce that themed presentation. If your priority is the lowest price, maximum sensor performance or a discreet office appearance, the artwork and lighting may not return much practical value.
Independent 2026 coverage reports that ASUS does not offer a standard-color Mini Wireless counterpart in the same form. That limits a direct like-for-like choice between a plain version and the licensed one, making the design premium harder to avoid for shoppers specifically seeking this compact model.

Pricing and value by region
ASUS Canada lists the mouse at $89.99, while the ASUS Japan Store lists it at ¥12,240 on sale against a ¥14,250 reference price. These are regional listings from 2026, not a universal street price; taxes, shipping, exchange rates and retailer stock can change the amount you actually pay.
At those reference prices, the mouse is best understood as a mainstream compact wireless gaming mouse with a collectible finish. The 12,000-dpi ceiling, three connection methods and lightweight shell cover the expected feature set, but the available evidence does not show a measured performance lead over less decorative alternatives. You are paying primarily for the licensed identity and the ability to match other Hatsune Miku peripherals.

- Check before ordering: your local ASUS listing for current price, stock, included accessories and regional warranty terms.
Bottom line
The ASUS TUF Gaming Mini Wireless Mouse Hatsune Miku Edition is neither a specification leader nor a poor performer. It is a competent, compact wireless mouse whose strongest differentiator is its licensed anime design. PC Gamer characterizes the broader collection as better suited to someone who is not tethered to a PC all day than to a 24/7 user; that is an editorial assessment, not a measured battery result. Choose it when the Hatsune Miku presentation and small form factor matter as much as the hardware. Otherwise, a conventional compact mouse may offer better value.
