Microsoft lists Forza Motorsport for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Its product listing gives October 10, 2023 as the release date. The platform difference can settle the choice before you compare driving features: Forza has a listed current-generation Xbox version, while the console Assetto Corsa edition identified here is for PS4 and Xbox One.

Assetto Corsa: more setup tools are explicitly described
The Steam product description highlights physics systems, tire behavior, telemetry, adjustable vehicle setups and configurable driving assists. It also lists four assist profiles: gamer, racer, pro and customizable. These details make the PC version a natural fit for a player who wants to adjust how the car behaves and inspect driving data. Forza Motorsport: no direct physics ranking is supported
The Forza materials consulted do not provide a like-for-like account of its physics or setup options. Pick Forza Motorsport for named meetup formats and updates
Forza’s Xbox product page describes multiplayer and add-on content. Update 20 notes describe Open Track Day and Drift Meetups, as well as AI and racing-wheel improvements. The rollout began May 5, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Microsoft Store and Steam. These notes establish that those formats and changes were part of that dated update; they do not establish that Update 20 is the newest release in 2026 or how many players are online now.
Assetto Corsa also has online multiplayer, according to its Steam listing, so the distinction is not “online versus offline.” The available descriptions give Forza’s multiplayer examples named meetup formats, while Assetto Corsa’s mention customizable race weekends. Can you play with a controller or racing wheel?
Both games have relevant input-device support in their official descriptions, but the exact wheel model and platform matter.
