The collaboration adds fighter-themed decals, a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 Edition and a new best-of-three mode in which cars ram one another inside a ring-like arena.
What the Asphalt Legends and Tekken 8 collaboration includes
Gameloft announced the crossover in its “Brawl of the Deep” patch notes dated 13 October 2026. Rather than using Tekken only as a cosmetic theme, the update changes how one event is played: the track becomes a fighting arena, and victory depends on damaging rival cars instead of simply reaching the finish line first.

- Event: TEKKEN 8 Spotlight

The published calendar also lists the Nissan 370Z Neon Edition, Pagani Huayra R, Apollo IE, Apollo EVO, Peugeot Onyx and Ford Shelby Super Snake as event cars. How the Tekken-inspired mode works
Gameloft describes the mode as one that “turns the track into a ring.” Your car is the playable fighter, while Tekken supplies the characters, visual identity and combat concept.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Best-of-three rounds
Each match is decided over up to three rounds. Winning the required number of rounds takes the match, so a single successful clash does not necessarily end the contest.
Two ways to win a round
- Score a knockout: Crash into opponents hard enough to deplete their life and KO them.
- Lead on life at the time limit: If the clock expires before a knockout, the player with the most remaining life wins.
This creates a different priority from a conventional Asphalt race. Speed still helps with positioning, but reckless contact can cost life, and surviving with a larger health reserve may be more valuable than chasing a dramatic final hit.

Which car is the Tekken 8 Edition?

Why the crossover matters
Bandai Namco reported that TEKKEN 8 sold more than 1 million copies worldwide on its launch day and more than 2 million in its first month. These are publisher-reported figures. The same release cites a Metascore of 90 and says TEKKEN 7 had surpassed 11.8 million copies worldwide by the end of December 2023. The scale of the fighting game gives Asphalt Legends a recognizable cast and a combat vocabulary that can be understood immediately, even though the underlying gameplay remains vehicle-based.
