The ASKO DBI654IBXXLS is a built-in dishwasher listed for 15 place settings, with a broad feature set and a two-year warranty in CHOICE’s Australian listing. But the model is marked discontinued, and the accessible CHOICE page does not show its independent test scores. That makes it possible to assess its specifications and advertised features, but not to give a confident verdict on washing performance or compare its measured results with current alternatives.
Is the ASKO DBI654IBXXLS worth considering?
It may suit someone who needs a large-capacity built-in dishwasher and can confirm the unit’s condition, installation fit, local service support and parts availability. Its 15-place-setting capacity and adjustable basket system are useful on paper, but manufacturer features and energy-label figures do not establish how well it washes or dries in independent testing.

Availability also needs checking: CHOICE labels the DBI654IBXXLS a discontinued model. ASKO Australia lists a closely corresponding model as DBI654IBXXL.S.AU, product code 729068, and displays a price of $2,599 with a “Notify me” control. As of the pages consulted in October 2026, that is not confirmation of stock or a current purchase opportunity. Check the exact suffix, condition and seller before relying on any listing. The published 3.5 energy stars, five water stars, 295 kWh annual energy claim and 12.2 L water claim should not be mistaken for those test results.
