These are figures published by Arlec, not measurements from an independent test. Arlec rounds the capacity to 4.7 kW in its specifications; the product description gives 4.68 kW / 16,000 BTU.

The listings do not provide a verified room-size recommendation or independent noise results. Room layout, ceiling height, sun exposure and other sources of heat all affect how suitable a given cooling capacity is. Treat the 65 dB figure as a manufacturer specification, not a promise of how loud the unit will seem in your home.
How do the smart controls work, according to Arlec?
Arlec says the unit works with the GRID Connect app and describes controlling it over home Wi-Fi or mobile internet. Its product copy also names Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa compatibility; the assistants are sold separately. The unit also has a touch-pad control and remote control, along with the 24-hour timer listed above. One owner review on Arlec’s product page says the reviewer struggled to use the app and stopped using its smart features. That is one person’s experience, not evidence that the app is generally difficult to use. The matching Grid Connect listing corroborates the model and core control details.

Arlec’s page displays one five-star review. Nadine P. says she used the unit for three years in a large living area with high ceilings and bought more for bedrooms, which she says became very cool. She also reports difficulty with the app and later trouble finding a replacement vent-kit panel after misplacing one.
