The Argos Big Red sale was reported as ending on October 13, 2026, but the available reporting does not specify a closing time or confirm that every offer runs until midnight. TechRadar’s October 8 roundup listed 18 deals—not 22—and described discounts of up to 50% on selected products. Treat its prices as dated examples, then check Argos’s product page and checkout for today’s price, code, stock and delivery options.
What is on offer in the Argos Big Red sale?
TechRadar’s October 8, 2026 report described Argos discounts across appliances, DIY, furniture, gaming, headphones, health and beauty, kitchen, laptops, phones, smart home, toys, TVs and vacuums. It advertised savings of up to 50%, a maximum for selected qualifying items rather than a typical discount across the range. Read the October sale report.

The report said eligible product pages displayed the applicable voucher code. RED10, RED20, RED30 and RED50 were examples associated with 10%, 20%, 30% and 50% discounts, respectively; they are not universal codes or a guarantee that any given item still qualifies. Argos’s official technology offers page also showed selected promotions, including 20% off selected Canon printers with CANON20, plus gaming offers and bundles. Check each offer’s terms and the final checkout total.

The October 8 roundup stated that it had found 18 deals. A separate TechRadar article published May 27, 2026 used a 22-deal count for an earlier sale; that number does not establish the size of the October selection or make those May prices current. The May roundup is useful only as historical context.

How to decide whether an Argos deal is worth buying
- Open the exact product listing. Match the model number or configuration, not just the broad product name. For electronics, check details such as laptop memory and storage or tablet generation.
- Read the offer terms on that page. Confirm whether a voucher code is needed, whether the item is included, and whether restrictions or exclusions apply.
- Check the basket and checkout total. Enter the eligible code if required and confirm the resulting price before placing the order. A headline percentage alone does not establish your final cost.
- Compare the stated reference price carefully. The October examples above are publisher-reported figures; they are not independent evidence that the sale price is the lowest available elsewhere.
- Confirm stock and fulfilment for your location. Check whether home delivery or collection is available and whether any applicable charges change the total.
- Decide against your actual needs. A lower price is only useful if the model, features and included items suit you.
When does the Argos sale end?
The October 8 report gives October 13, 2026 as the Big Red event’s end date, but does not specify a closing hour or time zone. It therefore does not support the claim that the whole sale ends “before midnight.” Argos’s technology page showed a separate mobile-care promotion stated to end at 23:59 on October 13; that deadline applies to that specific offer, not automatically to the wider sale. Check the terms for the item you want.

Argos’s official home page displayed selected home and furniture offers, including the codes FURN10, FURN20, FURN30 and FURN50. These are category-specific promotions, not confirmation that products in the Big Red roundup remain discounted.
