Argos’s Big Red Event offers discounts of 10% to 50% on selected products when shoppers use the item’s designated code at checkout. The headline 50% saving is a maximum, not a discount across the whole range. Argos says the event ends 13 October 2026; check the live product page and basket for current eligibility, price and availability.
What is included in the Argos Big Red Event?
The event covers selected products across appliances and floorcare, home and furniture, technology, toys, health and beauty, jewellery and watches, sports and leisure, baby and nursery, and garden and DIY. Argos’s event page gives examples such as selected large kitchen appliances with savings up to 20%, selected small kitchen appliances up to 30%, selected furniture up to 30%, selected Chromebooks up to 20%, rare LEGO sets with RED20, and selected TVs and soundbars with RED10. These are product-specific examples, not discounts that apply to every item in those categories. See Argos’s current event listings and terms.

How to use an Argos Big Red code
- Open the product listing and check for its Big Red code badge. The eligible item’s page identifies the code to use.
- Add the eligible product to your basket.
- At the payment page, enter the matching code and confirm that the saving appears in the order total before paying.
- If your basket contains several eligible products, check each item’s code. Argos says more than one code can be applied when a basket includes multiple products; the applicable code and saving depend on the products.
Argos’s event terms say that individual codes provide savings between 10% and 50%, different code values apply to different products, and savings are applied at checkout. The event page lists 13 October 2026 as the end date; confirm the live terms before ordering in case they change.

The table below combines two dated snapshots, not a single synchronized price list. TechRadar’s roundup was published on 8 October 2026. Argos’s event page separately displayed the AirPods Pro 3 at £219 with a RED15 badge. Prices and stock can change, so use the live listing and checkout total rather than treating these figures as guaranteed offers.

The AirPods figures should not be merged: TechRadar described its deal as 28% off, while Argos’s event page separately showed £219 and a RED15 badge. The sources do not establish that these were the same price snapshot or offer conditions. Check the current product listing for the exact model, code and final price. Read TechRadar’s 8 October 2026 deal roundup.
How to judge whether a deal is worthwhile
- Confirm the exact model, size and configuration; similar product names can refer to different items.
- Compare the price you will actually pay at checkout, including whether the displayed code is accepted.
- Check stock and delivery or collection availability for your location.
- Compare like with like: a larger percentage saving does not necessarily mean a better deal if the product, price history or specifications differ.
Do not confuse the event with other Argos promotions
Argos also lists technology promotions such as cashback, bundles and other voucher codes. Those offers can have separate eligibility and terms and are not automatically part of the Big Red Event. Check their own details on the Argos Tech Offers page rather than assuming an event code applies.
