Yes. Assemble Entertainment announced that Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice will be removed from Steam after October 23, 2026. The announcement, reported by Video Games Chronicle on October 9, does not establish whether the games will also leave GOG or Nintendo Switch.
Which Leisure Suit Larry games are leaving Steam, and when?
The two games are Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry (2018) and Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice (2020). Assemble Entertainment’s Steam notice, as quoted by VGC on October 9, 2026, says they would “only be available on Steam until October 23. After that, both games will be removed from the store.” That makes October 23 the stated final day of Steam availability; the notice does not give a more precise time or time zone.

Is this the same delisting as last year?
No. The 2026 announcement concerns the two newer games. In May 2025, Steam removed the first seven numbered games—there is no Leisure Suit Larry 4—and Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude. VGC reported that owners of those earlier titles could continue playing them after they were removed from sale, but that report does not establish the same access terms for the two newer games. Assemble’s 2026 notice, as reproduced by VGC, does not include a specific assurance about existing owners’ access.

VGC reported on October 9 that both games were listed on GOG and Nintendo Switch as well as Steam. It did not establish that the current Steam removal will extend to those other storefronts, or that either game will remain available there after October 23. The earlier delisted titles’ reported availability on GOG is not proof that these two will stay listed.

What was the reported sale price?
In its October 9, 2026 snapshot, VGC reported a 95% discount for each game: $1.99 instead of $39.99, or £0.89 instead of £35.99, on Steam, GOG, and Nintendo Switch. The report said the Steam discount appeared to be US-only at that time and that it was unclear whether Xbox or PlayStation would receive it. These are dated promotional prices, not guaranteed current prices; check the relevant store for your region before buying.

Why are the games being removed?
Assemble Entertainment had not explained the reason in the Steam announcement reported by VGC. A licensing issue has been suggested, but it has not been confirmed by the publisher or a rights holder.

Video Game History Foundation library director Phil Salvador then suggested that the license might not have been renewed after EA acquired Codemasters. That is a theory, not an announced explanation for this delisting; the available reporting does not confirm that EA, Codemasters, or a licensing decision caused it.
