A Mashable article dated October 6, 2026 reports that Soundcore Sleep A30 Special earbuds were $159.99 at Amazon during Prime Big Deal Days, $40 (20%) below a stated $199.99 list price. Mashable calls that a record-low price, but neither the live Amazon offer nor the price-history claim has been independently confirmed. Check the listing before treating this as a current deal.
What the October Prime Day deal reportedly includes
The October 6 Mashable article identifies the Soundcore Sleep A30 Special as its favorite sleep earbuds and reports this offer:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
| Item | Reported figure | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon price | $159.99 | Reported by Mashable on October 6, 2026; current listing and availability not independently verified. |
| Stated list price | $199.99 | As reported by Mashable; not independently verified. |
| Reported saving | $40 (20%) | Calculated against the article’s stated list price. |
| “Lowest price on record” | Claimed by Mashable | No independent price-history record was available to confirm it. |
So, the careful answer is: Mashable described the offer as a record low, but the available evidence supports only that the article reported that claim—not that this is definitively the cheapest price ever. The article appeared on October 6, 2026, so its price should not be assumed to remain available.

What Mashable says about the earbuds

It also says the earbuds are comfortable for side, back, and stomach sleepers. These are article-reported descriptions; exact specifications and comfort claims have not been independently verified here, so consult Soundcore’s current product information before relying on them.

Mashable’s Lead Shopping Reporter Bethany Allard is quoted in the article as saying: “The Sleep A30 Special earbuds aren’t just better than their predecessors — they officially sit head and shoulders above all other available sleep earbuds.” That is a reported review opinion, not an independently established head-to-head result.
Should you choose sleep earbuds or ordinary earplugs?
Sleep earbuds may suit someone who wants audio at bedtime—such as white noise, calming music, or a podcast—alongside noise masking. Ordinary earplugs are a simpler option if the main goal is blocking noise without playback or soundscape controls. The available article does not provide a detailed comparative test, so it does not establish that the Sleep A30 Special is the best choice for every sleeper.

- Consider your sleep position and whether an in-ear device feels comfortable through the night.
- Check verified battery and noise-masking details against your needs rather than relying on general claims.
- Compare the current price with alternatives before buying; Mashable named Ozlo Sleepbuds 2 as a higher-priced option, reporting $279 at the time. That comparison price is dated and unverified.
What to check before buying
- Open the Amazon listing and confirm the product is the Soundcore Sleep A30 Special, not another Sleep A30 model.
- Check the live price, seller, stock, and delivery details; the $159.99 figure is Mashable’s October 6, 2026 report, not a verified current listing.
- Review Soundcore’s current specifications for soundscapes, tracking, battery life, fit, and compatibility before treating the article’s descriptions as product facts.
- If the record-low claim matters to your decision, consult a reliable price-history source; the cited article’s claim alone does not establish an all-time low.
