A community deal roundup lists one nominal 50% price comparison for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on PS5; its other examples show smaller discounts or unclear reference pricing. Are Final Fantasy games 50% off on Amazon?
Not across the board, based on the available game-price examples. A community roundup lists Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for PS5 at $19.99 against a $39.99 reference price, a nominal 50% comparison. That roundup does not establish that Amazon officially designated the listing as an event offer or that the reference price reflects the game’s usual price. The other examples are below 50% or lack enough context to verify a discount.

- The games that inspired a generation come to life once more, in the ultimate 2D pixel remaster!
- These games are newly developed remaster editions based on the original titles. Some of the changes and additional elements found in other remakes of these games are not included.
- The Anniversary Edition includes a pixel character sticker sheet.
- Universally updated 2D pixel graphics, including the iconic FINAL FANTASY character designs created by Kazuko Shibuya, the original artist and current collaborator.

Amazon says new “Today’s Big Deals” launch at midnight, 8 a.m., and 1 p.m. PDT. That schedule applies to the event’s deal drops; it does not guarantee that a particular Final Fantasy listing will appear or remain available.

How to check whether a listing is a real deal for you
- Match the exact game, edition, and platform. A Switch, Switch 2, or PS5 listing is not interchangeable with another platform’s version. Confirm the edition name on the product page.
- Check the live price and eligibility. Confirm the current item price, whether the offer is available to your Prime account, and whether the item is still in stock before placing an order.
- Use Amazon’s Price History link on the product page. Amazon says the tool can show up to 365 days of pricing data. This is Amazon’s own price-history feature, not independent verification that a displayed reference price is typical.
- Compare the price against your own buying threshold. A percentage reduction is only useful if the specific game and platform are what you want and the current checkout price works for you.
Amazon’s FAQ also describes event coverage across “more than 35 categories,” and its press release says the event includes “over one million items at Amazon’s lowest price of the year so far.” Those are Amazon’s event-wide promotional statements, not evidence about Final Fantasy discounts specifically. Amazon’s press release attributes the event’s convenience and savings message to Carmen Nestares, vice president of North America Marketing and Prime Tech.
