Their main compromises are noise cancellation that independent reviewers say trails some premium rivals and a fit that may not suit everyone. The right choice depends on your priorities and the price you can actually get.
What you get with Beats Studio Pro
Beats lists a custom 40 mm driver, a digital processor, adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), Transparency mode, USB-C lossless audio, and Personalized Spatial Audio. The headphones are compatible with Apple and Android devices. Their listed weight is 260 g, and Beats describes the ear cushions as UltraPlush engineered leather with adjustable metal sliders.

How do Beats Studio Pro sound?
Beats describes the Studio Pro sound profile as balanced. SoundGuys’ review assesses the sound positively overall, but that is a reviewer judgment, not a guarantee that every listener will like the tuning. If you can, listen to familiar music before buying or choose a seller with a return window.
#1 Best Overall
- INCREDIBLE SOUND: Custom acoustic platform delivers rich, balanced audio for music, calls and everyday listening.
- LOSSLESS AUDIO SUPPORT: USB-C lossless audio and sound profiles optimize music quality across devices and environments. Additional option to use the 3.5 mm cable for a standard analog experience.
- ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING (ANC): block distractions at work, on flights or during your daily commute. Or use Transparency mode to let the sounds of your environment mix in with your music.
- SEAMLESS WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY: One-touch pairing with Apple & Android for easy switching across devices.
- SPATIAL AUDIO IMMERSION: Personalized dynamic head tracking, 360-degree sound for movies, music and immersive everyday listening.
Are they comfortable to wear?
Comfort is individual: clamp force, ear shape, and how the cushions sit can matter as much as weight. Beats lists the Studio Pro at 260 g. SoundGuys gives them a 2.9 comfort score; that is the outlet’s review score, not a standardized measurement or a prediction of how they will fit you. If possible, check the fit in person or make sure you can return them after trying them.
How long does the battery last?
Beats claims up to 40 hours of listening with ANC and Transparency mode turned off, or up to 24 hours with either feature enabled. These are manufacturer estimates, not independently measured results in the available evidence. Your listening time may differ with settings and use.

Is the noise cancellation good?
Studio Pro includes adaptive ANC and a Transparency mode that lets outside sound through. RTINGS says the headphones block a good amount of noise but trail premium competitors such as Bose QuietComfort Ultra. That is a comparative assessment from the reviewer, not a universal ranking across every headphone or listening situation.
If reducing noise is your first priority, compare the Studio Pro with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra and Sony WH-1000XM4 before buying. Fit can affect how well over-ear headphones isolate sound, so your own seal and comfort matter too.

What should you know about USB-C audio?
Beats lists USB-C lossless audio as a feature. There is an important limitation: SoundGuys notes that ANC and Transparency cannot be used while audio is playing over USB. If you plan to listen over USB and rely on noise control at the same time, this may be a deal-breaker.
Beats Studio Pro vs. Sony WH-1000XM4 and Bose QuietComfort Ultra
These alternatives are useful comparison points, especially if you care more about ANC or fit than Beats’ combination of USB-C audio and Apple/Android compatibility. RTINGS’ June 15, 2026 comparison favors the Sony WH-1000XM4 for ANC, comfort for most people, and battery life. RTINGS also names the Bose QuietComfort Ultra as a stronger ANC comparison in its Studio Pro review.

When are Beats Studio Pro worth buying?
- They may suit you if you want Apple and Android compatibility, USB-C lossless listening, ANC and Transparency options, and long manufacturer-claimed battery life—and the price is meaningfully below Beats’ listed $299.99.
- Compare alternatives first if ANC, comfort, or battery life is your top concern; RTINGS’ comparison favors the Sony WH-1000XM4 on those axes, while Bose QuietComfort Ultra is a useful ANC benchmark.
- Check fit and wired-use details if you are sensitive to clamp or plan to use ANC while listening over USB.
Ultimately, whether they are worth it turns on your own fit and priorities, plus the actual selling price—not the manufacturer’s listed price alone.
