The promotion concerned the 2026 Hisense U7SG MiniLED ULED 4K UHD Google TV lineup, not every television carrying the broader U7 name. USA TODAY’s deal report describes the U7SG as featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, MiniLED contrast and brightness, and an AI picture processor. Treat those as claims about the reported U7SG lineup, and check the exact set’s specifications before buying.

Hisense’s catalog includes U7 variants with different smart-TV platforms, including Google TV and Fire TV. Confirm the full model suffix, screen size and platform in the product listing rather than assuming another U7 listing is the same set as a U7SG. See Hisense USA’s 50-to-55-inch TV catalog.

A separate October 6 deal article described selected U7 discounts as ranging from 44% to 50%, but its model descriptions are confusing and its figures do not align cleanly with USA TODAY’s model-by-model savings. Because those accounts conflict, USA TODAY’s listed dollar prices and savings are the clearer basis for this comparison; the conflicting report should not be used to claim a uniform discount. The Hisense USA TV deals page also shows U7-series offers with varying savings, which can change over time.
For context, the secondary report gives additional specifications for particular sizes, but these are not a substitute for checking the exact regional model: it describes the 55-inch set with up to 3,000 local dimming zones and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, and the 65-inch set with a 165Hz rating. Those details should be verified against the manufacturer’s specification for the model being considered. The report also lists audio and format features for the 100-inch model, including Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced, DTS:X and Devialet-tuned 2.1.2 audio; do not assume that feature set applies to other sizes or variants.
