Yes. Some furniture you craft for the ARC Raiders Outpost provides storage for eligible items outside the standard stash. The amount depends on the designs, furniture, and Outpost upgrades you have unlocked and placed; Embark has not published a guaranteed total number of extra slots. Treat claims of “hundreds” as a possible fully furnished setup, not a promise for every player.
How Outpost furniture storage works
Embark Studios added 100 Furniture Designs in the Frozen Trail 2.0 update. Designs work much like blueprints: learn one, then use it to craft the corresponding furniture for your Outpost. Not every piece of furniture is necessarily a container, so check an item’s description and the storage details shown in your game before spending materials or arranging your room.

Storage-bearing pieces can hold items separately from the standard stash. For example, a weapon rack is intended for weapons, while some shelves, tables, and cabinets can accept other items. Furniture may have both a capacity limit and restrictions on what it can store. The in-game display is the most useful guide to the capacity and eligible item types for the specific piece you own.
Which furniture stores items?
A current secondary guide reports that weapon racks hold up to four weapons and that certain larger shelves hold up to eight items. Those are examples, not a complete official capacity list: furniture types and limits can vary, and Embark has not published a definitive table covering every item. Check the live item details rather than assuming two pieces with similar names or appearances have the same capacity.

When deciding what to craft, compare the factors that affect how useful a piece will be for your setup:
- Displayed capacity: Look at the number of items the furniture can hold in your game.
- Eligible items: Confirm whether it accepts weapons or the other item types you want to store.
- Design unlock: You must learn the relevant design before crafting that piece.
- Materials: Consider the crafting requirements and whether you can spare those materials.
- Placement: Make sure the piece fits where you intend to put it without blocking useful space.
How to unlock the Outpost and start furnishing it
The Outpost is unlocked through a project. Embark’s Frozen Trail update specifically advises players to accept the quest and bring a camera. A current guide identifies the project as Sheltered Retreat and describes a photo objective, a materials-delivery step, and damage objectives. Requirements can change, so follow the objectives and resource counts in your in-game project tracker rather than relying on an old list.

- Accept the Outpost project: Use the in-game project or quest interface and check its current tracker for the required objectives.
- Bring the camera: Embark’s update calls this out for the quest. Follow the tracker’s photo instructions if they appear.
- Complete the listed tasks: Deliver the required materials and finish any other objectives shown in the tracker.
- Learn furniture designs: Collect designs from their available sources and learn them so you can craft their furniture.
- Choose storage-bearing pieces: Check each furniture item’s storage capacity and accepted item types before crafting and placing it.

The figures describe reported sources for designs, not storage capacity. Unlocking more designs gives you more furniture options, but it does not mean every design adds storage.

How much extra stash space can furniture add?
A secondary guide describes a fully furnished Outpost as potentially adding hundreds of spaces beyond the standard stash cap. That is a contingent estimate, not a number Embark guarantees: the official update announces 100 designs but does not state a total furniture-storage capacity. The amount available to an individual player depends on what they have unlocked and placed, and on each piece’s capacity and item restrictions.
Also distinguish Outpost furniture storage from the standard stash’s displayed slot count. Do not assume that furniture changes the stash’s stated capacity; use the storage interfaces and limits shown in your current game. Community references also report furniture clipping or blocking placement slots, so a piece’s theoretical capacity is useful only if it can be placed and accessed in your layout.

How to choose what to craft first
Start with the items you actually want out of the standard stash. Look for furniture that accepts those item types, then compare the capacity shown in-game with its crafting cost and the designs you have already learned. A weapon rack may be useful if you need a place for eligible weapons; a shelf or cabinet may suit other items if its description confirms they are accepted.
