ARC Raiders
Nexon describes ARC Raiders as taking place on a dangerous future Earth ravaged by mysterious machines called ARC. Players become Raiders, scavenging supplies while facing both the machines and rival Raiders. THE FINALS
THE FINALS is a free-to-play first-person shooter set inside a virtual combat game show. Its arenas recreate places including Monaco and Las Vegas, with environmental destruction powered by server-side physics. The announcement confirms an adaptation partnership, not how a screen version might translate the game-show setting or its destructible arenas. Who is making the adaptations?
Chernin Entertainment is the lead producer named in the deal. Nexon says it selected the company after several production companies and studios competed for the rights, while Embark’s creative team will work closely with Chernin. The announcement does not name individual writers, directors, cast members, or other production personnel.
In an English-language rendering of the announcement published by GamesRadar, Embark founder and CEO Patrick Söderlund described the agreement as a step toward “deeply integrated transmedia experiences” for the games and their player communities. How the news differs from the earlier status
In January 2026, Söderlund told GamesBeat that companies had approached Embark about adapting ARC Raiders, but that no one was then working on a film or television adaptation.
