Call blocking: The app can automatically block calls with negative ratings, hidden numbers, or numbers on a local blacklist.
Offline operation: Call blocking, caller information notifications, and the call log can work offline using a local phone number database.
Blacklist: The local blacklist supports wildcards, and the app can import NoPhoneSpam backups.
Caller details: Incoming call notifications can show a number’s rating, review count, and category; detailed online reviews require internet access.
Database updates: Optional automatic incremental database updates are available and require internet access.
Contacts: When the Use contacts option is enabled, numbers in the phone’s contacts are never blocked.
Integrations: The app uses a third-party crowdsourced phone number database and third-party services for database updates and online reviews.
License: The project is licensed under AGPLv3-only and describes itself as non-commercial.
Compatibility limitation: The FAQ reports that call blocking and informational notifications may fail on some Xiaomi MIUI phones, while some modern Samsung phones may not show informational notifications.
Whitelist limitation: The FAQ says there is no whitelist feature; enabling Use contacts allows saved numbers to bypass blocking.
Support: The maker directs users with unanswered questions to the project’s GitLab issues and explains how to export app logs for crash reports.
