The record

Purpose: Yes Steve Model is a Minecraft mod that modifies the original player model using Minecraft Bedrock Edition model and animation files.
Latest version: The latest release is version 2.6.5.
Automatic synchronization: When ordinary players enter a server, the server automatically synchronizes models to their computers.
Model encryption: Models sent to player clients are encrypted binary files intended to help prevent model theft.
Model permissions: Server operators can authorize individual models before players can use them.
Animation roulette: Pressing Z opens an animation roulette for playing animations such as motions and expressions.
Maid support: YSM models and animations can be used on Touhou Little Maid models when the required mod versions are installed.
Supported systems: The current support table lists Windows AMD64 and Linux AMD64 clients and servers, plus Android AArch64 clients; macOS is unsupported.
Game loaders: Version 2.6.5 supports Forge 1.20.1, Fabric 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and NeoForge 1.21.1 and 26.1.2.
Installation requirement: The mod should be installed on both the Minecraft client and server for all functions to work normally.
Mobile support: Since version 2.5.2, mobile gameplay is supported through compatible launchers including Fold Craft Launcher, Zalith Launcher and Zalith Launcher 2.
Security architecture: Since version 1.2.0, core encryption and rendering are written in C++ to improve rendering performance and security, with limited cross-platform support.
Security limitation: Version 2.2.2 and later uses AVX instructions, so CPUs released before 2010 can trigger an illegal-instruction crash.
Community support: The FAQ directs users who cannot solve problems to the YSM community Discord server.
