What Willo is

Willo is a candidate screening platform for hiring teams to review, rate and share candidate responses remotely. Candidates can respond by video, audio or text at a time that suits them, so recruiters can assess applicants asynchronously. Teams can use an assessment library, benchmarks and custom scorecards; Willo Intelligence transcribes and summarizes interviews and identifies skills and gaps. Interviews can be recorded and prepared with templates, but live interviews are not offered. Willo says its candidate experience works on any device and browser, meets WCAG 2.0 and supports 18 languages. Listed connections include Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Zapier and OpenAPI. Willo states it is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, and lists AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2 in transit and two-factor authentication. Candidates may upload files up to 25 MB each. The paid service has a 7-day trial and no free plan. Lite costs £49 a month, billed £49 per live role, with checks as add-ons. Enterprise is £2,999 a year, billed annually and payable monthly or quarterly.

Who it suits

Willo suits recruiting teams that want to review candidate responses asynchronously and share assessments. Enterprise is presented for teams handling large or repeatable volumes across multiple teams, sites or managers.

Limits

Lite allows up to 5 live roles, 150 assessed candidates per live role and 5 users. Identity, right-to-work and background checks are add-ons on Lite. The trial lasts 7 days, and there is no free plan.
