The record

Product: WillisTP is a teleprompter for reading scripts while recording on a computer, phone, or tablet.
Script formats: It imports Markdown and text files, supports drag-and-drop, and provides a split editor with live preview and word count.
Script navigation: Markdown headings become jump-to section markers, and speaker notes in HTML comments stay hidden from the prompter.
Pacing: The prompter supports direct-speed or target-time pacing, eased play and pause, and adjustable typography with four reading themes.
Reading aids: Features include an eye-line cue, focus band, horizontal and vertical mirror modes, and a dyslexia-friendly font option.
Timing: The live timing display includes elapsed and remaining time, words per minute, per-section progress, and a current-section indicator.
Camera mode: Optional camera-behind-text mode renders the webcam behind the script, with an adjustable legibility scrim and camera device picker.
Overlay and compatibility: A borderless, transparent, always-on-top overlay can float over OBS or Zoom and can optionally allow clicks through to the app beneath.
Controls: WillisTP supports keyboard shortcuts, Bluetooth presenter remotes, foot pedals via standard key events, and rebindable controls.
Offline and local storage: Scripts are kept in local files and the app works offline; the web version uses a browser-localStorage fallback for its script library.
Privacy: The maker says WillisTP has no accounts, telemetry, or backend servers, and scripts and settings stay on the user's device.
Camera and microphone privacy: Camera and microphone access is optional and permission-based; the live stream is processed locally and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by WillisTP.
Third-party services: The privacy policy says WillisTP does not depend on online services or exchange data with third-party cloud services operated by the maker.
Purchase limitation: Each platform is a standalone purchase with no cross-platform bundle, except that Apple's Universal Purchase covers Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
