PromptSmart

What PromptSmart is

PromptSmart is a cross-platform video production suite with teleprompter software at its center. Its VoiceTrack feature follows a speaker’s delivery: the script scrolls as they speak, pauses when they stop or improvise, and resumes when they return to the text. PromptSmart says VoiceTrack processes audio locally on the device and does not need an internet connection. Users can write or edit scripts in the My PromptSmart portal and sync them across devices. The service identifies iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and Box as cloud sources for scripts. For session control, it offers a mobile Remote Control app and a browser-based control room. Starter Pack allows one Remote Control session, while Team supports multiple browser-based sessions. The portal can create unlimited duplicate displays, a feature that requires internet access. PromptSmart says its iOS and Android apps can record video in 4K. The company lists audiobook narrators, salespeople, social media influencers, corporate users, actors, clergy, public speakers, and educators among its audiences. Plans start at $9.99 a month, with a 7-day trial and no free plan. PromptSmart Studio Edition terms identify Belleau Technologies LLC as the owner of the apps and related content and accounts.
