WidgetWall
What WidgetWall is
WidgetWall is a macOS app that combines customizable desktop widgets, stickers and wallpapers. Its free selection includes Clock, Calculator, Photos, Stopwatch, Timer, App Shortcuts, Video, Memory Master, Lava Lamp, Mystic Ball and Affirmations. Premium in-app purchases add widgets such as Weather, Music, Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Browser, Pinterest and Finder. Widget backgrounds can use colors, gradients or photos, with separate settings for Light and Dark modes. Stickers can be configured to open websites, launch apps, adjust settings or play sounds. The app includes more than one thousand curated still and animated wallpapers. Automatic and manual backups in Settings can save and restore widgets and data. WidgetWall requires macOS 12.0 or later. Premium costs $1.99 a month, $19.99 a year or $49.99, paid once through its listed in-app purchase options. Amico says usage and diagnostic information may be processed. It also notes that macOS Spaces and external-monitor window management can jumble widgets because third-party developers lack the APIs needed to control those behaviors.
