Tolstoy Compose
What Tolstoy Compose is
Tolstoy Compose is a document app available on the web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. It includes publishing tools, version history, offline mode, mobile apps, and extensive export formats, but no real-time collaboration. The Free plan costs nothing and limits each document to 8 Shelf notes, 5 sources, 5 open comments or suggested edits, 3 images, 2 tables, and 1 chart. Pro costs £60 a year, billed annually, and removes those per-document limits while adding PDF and editable Word export and access to up to 50 latest automatic versions. The pricing note lists paid access from £60/user/yr. Teams has no listed price, requires at least 2 seats, and supports up to 250 seats. Tolstoy Compose is made by a United Kingdom-based company. The plan structure lets individuals work within Free limits or choose Pro for broader documents, exports, and automatic-version access.
