What Staff Leave is

Staff Leave is a holiday planner for employees and managers, available on Android, iOS, and the web. Employees can request time off, while managers can approve or reject requests; users can also book leave for someone else. Administrators choose who approves requests and set leave allowances and rollover rules. The app sends notifications to mobile phones or email, and leave can be exported or synchronized with Google Calendar, Outlook, and iOS Calendar. A RESTful API is available for connecting with third-party software.

The free plan includes unlimited users, mobile holiday booking, request decisions, live calendar export feeds, and importing users and leave. PlusPack is priced at £1 a month per user, plus VAT, and adds a desktop app, an expandable wall planner, full leave history and audit trails, basic reporting, and allowance snapshots. The shared mobile planner displays three months of past leave and all future leave; PlusPack enables a full historic lookback. Mobile bookings can be made up to 12 months ahead. Staff Leave is freemium, with a 7-day trial. Its privacy policy places user data at a dedicated hosting facility in Leeds and on AWS servers in London, UK.
