SFWare Photo Recovery is a Windows and macOS utility for retrieving deleted, lost, missing, inaccessible, or formatted photos and other media. It can recover RAW files, videos, and music from cameras, memory cards, internal and external drives, USB flash drives, iPods, and listed card formats such as SD, microSD, SDHC, SDXC, CF, XD, MMC, and memory sticks. Smart AI scanners search storage sectors for hidden or inaccessible image data. Supported image types include RAW, raster, vector, lossy, and lossless formats. The software offers both scan modes and lets users preview recoverable files. Its demo allows previewing, while saving recovered files requires the full version; the listed free recovery limit is 500 GB. Windows support includes FAT16, FAT32, ExFAT, and NTFS, while Mac support includes APFS, HFS+, HFS, exFAT, and FAT32. SFWare advises installing it in a different location from the storage being restored. Licenses cover one or two PCs, with monthly, six-month, and perpetual options.
