Omni

What Omni is
Omni manages provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and backups for Talos clusters across bare metal, edge, and cloud environments. Platform teams can use it as SaaS or self-host it, including in disconnected and air-gapped settings. Listed infrastructure options include KubeVirt, libvirt, vSphere, Proxmox, AWS EC2, QEMU, UTM, PXE, and providers teams build themselves. Omni applies declarative cluster templates across a fleet and keeps clusters aligned with their specifications. Fleet-wide Talos and Kubernetes upgrades include health checks, atomic per-node updates, and automatic rollback on failure. Connections to nodes use a WireGuard tunnel; KubeSpan can extend encryption across clusters and sites. Workload Proxy creates an identity-provider-gated URL for an HTTP service and routes it to a cluster through the existing encrypted tunnel. Authentication supports SAML or OIDC, with per-cluster role-scoped access and change auditing through the UI or API. The Hobby plan costs $10 per month for up to 10 nodes and 2 users; Startup costs $25 per node per month and supports up to 50 nodes and unlimited clusters. A free 14-day trial is available without a credit card.
