What NowMax is

NowMax is a video calling app for recording remote interviews with experts. It is aimed at podcasters, content creators, journalists, and marketers. A host creates an interview and shares a link so guests can join from their devices; during the call, the host can adjust guests’ audio and video settings remotely without interrupting the interview. NowMax records audio and video locally on each participant’s device to reduce the effect of connection problems on recording quality. It advertises uncompressed audio in 48 kHz WAV and video up to 4K at a constant frame rate. Separate audio and video tracks are exported in WAV and AVC/HEVC formats for editing tools including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Microsoft Clipchamp. The service describes live recording status indicators and says recordings have no audio/video drift. Recording takes place in a browser; listed platforms are Android, iOS, web, and Windows. Pricing is on request. Its privacy policy says recordings are stored for as long as the interviewer requires them; the service says it is hosted in German data centers and complies with EU privacy laws.
