What Lasso is

Lasso is a paid macOS window manager for moving and resizing windows with a mouse or keyboard. Its grid lets you click and drag windows into position and size. You can create, save, export, and import custom layouts, including layout presets, for repeatable arrangements. Custom global keyboard shortcuts can trigger quick actions or apply saved layouts. Lasso supports multiple displays and moving windows between monitors, and it can synchronize preferences through iCloud. The maker distributes it outside the Mac App Store because it says Apple’s Accessibility API and sandbox restrictions would prevent full functionality there. A seven-day trial includes all features. After purchase, a 14-day money-back guarantee applies. Depending on the license, the app can run on up to three devices owned and used by the customer. Support is available through Discord, email, or in-app feedback. Students, teachers, and academic institutions can request an educational license. There is no free plan.
