What Kosshi Outliner is

Kosshi Outliner is a personal outliner for collecting notes, thoughts, and tasks across projects in one expandable structure. You organize rows with indentation and movement, then use collapsing, search, filters, bookmarks, saved searches, or zooming into a row and its children. Editing supports Markdown, checkboxes, keyboard shortcuts, and zooming. Images, PDFs, and videos can be attached, and outlines can be exported as Markdown, Rich Text, TextBundle, plain text, or OPML. Dated @tags can sync with Apple Reminders or Calendar. The app works offline on macOS and iOS, including iPhone and iPad, and can synchronize through iCloud CloudKit. Data is stored in a local SQLite database on each device, with optional private CloudKit syncing. Kosshi says its structures remain usable beyond 100,000 rows and that it collects no analytics or usage data. Collaboration and shared outlines are unsupported. The one-time price is $24.99 USD, with a seven-day trial that becomes read-only until purchase.

Verdict

Kosshi Outliner offers a large, searchable personal outline with Apple-device syncing, offline access, and broad export options. Its Apple-only scope, read-only trial limit, and lack of collaboration matter when selecting it.
