What Gatewise is

Gatewise is a cloud management portal and mobile app for managing entry to gates, doors, amenities, and shared spaces. It serves multifamily housing, student housing, self-storage, mixed-use properties, senior communities, and other commercial sites. Residents can open authorized access points through the app, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or voice commands with Siri and Google Assistant. They can send temporary digital keys, while visitors can use QR-based guest access and connect with residents or staff over two-way video.

For prospective renters, Gatewise supports self-guided tours with time-limited entry to model units and visit audit trails. Property teams can monitor access in real time, review logs, receive credential-sharing alerts, set role-based permissions, and view activity across a portfolio. Integrations with Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, and ResMan synchronize resident records and adjust access based on lease activity. Gatewise says its hardware uses cellular connectivity independent of property internet and includes battery backup. Essential covers gate and amenity access, the app, portal, PMS integrations, and guest access; Advanced adds Wallet Access and self-guided tours; Complete adds unit locks.
