The record

What it does: Digital Rebar is an enterprise bare metal automation platform managing hardware from delivery through decommission across Day 0, Day 1, and Day 2 operations.
Zero-touch provisioning: The platform automatically provisions systems at first boot, including RAID, BIOS, firmware, operating-system installation, and first-run configuration.
Lifecycle operations: Digital Rebar supports patching, configuration-baseline enforcement, drift detection, rebuilds, secure wiping, auditing, and hardware reclassification.
Integrations: Ready-to-use automation covers Windows, RHEL, Ubuntu, ESXi, OpenShift, Proxmox, Kubernetes, and major hardware OEMs.
API: The API-first system exposes workflows, machine states, parameters, and logs, with websocket events, PATCH support, and a Swagger definition.
Infrastructure as code: Workflows, parameters, and roles are immutable content that supports version control, reuse, and staged rollout.
Multi-site: Multi-Site Manager coordinates automation across geographically distributed sites while allowing each site to operate independently.
Self-hosted: Digital Rebar runs entirely within the customer environment and is designed for air-gapped operation without dependence on external services.
Security: Security features include SAML and LDAP single sign-on, Active Directory integration, API-layer role-based access control, access logs, and Secure Boot workflows.
Support: The Platform and Enterprise subscriptions include 8×5 support, with 24×7 premium support available as an option.
Trial requirements: The self-trial requires a Linux instance with at least 4GB RAM and ports 22 and 8090–8092 open.
Pricing model: Digital Rebar licensing is quote-based, modular, and tailored to the customer fleet, with optional OpenShift and VCF modules and Factory or Lifecycle license models.
Intended users: The product is positioned for multi-site production bare metal teams and for regulated, air-gapped, and high-availability-critical fleets.
