Cover Letter Tailor is a web tool that creates a writing guide and a job-specific cover letter from a resume and job description. You can paste a resume or upload it as a PDF or .docx file, then paste the job description. The guide uses those details to shape the opening, middle, employer needs and closing. Choose Automatic, Direct & confident, Warm & enthusiastic, or Understated tone. Generated text can be copied; paid plans also allow .docx downloads. The free tier gives two letters per day without an account, with Quick & detailed mode and all tone options. Unlimited costs 7.00 USD per month; Credits costs 9.00 USD per once for 10 generations, and those credits do not expire. The site says generation usually takes under 15 seconds and streams as it is produced. Resume and job-description text goes to Anthropic for generation and is then discarded without storage or model training. The privacy policy also describes HTTPS encryption in transit and bcrypt-hashed passwords.
Who it is for
It suits job seekers who want to tailor a cover letter to a particular role using their resume and the employer’s description. The no-account free tier may suit occasional use; paid options support more generations or .docx downloads.
