Blackveil monitors organizational information on the dark web and related sources to identify compromised credentials and signs of attack preparation. It scans underground forums, data marketplaces, and leak databases, and says it checks all relevant sources daily. Analysts review findings for relevance, freshness, and severity before alerts and recommended actions are sent. Professional and Premium include an Attack Anticipation Module that correlates threat signals into a risk score. API and webhook connections can send findings to systems such as SIEM platforms, SOCs, and managed security providers. Private email monitoring is voluntary and requires employee consent; Blackveil says it handles email addresses and consent metadata, not mailbox contents. It lists monitoring for credentials, passwords, card data, domains, website logins, cloud accounts, and other organizational data.
