Reports say two waves of products may be coming. The first is a smart-home hub, a refreshed HomePod mini and a new Apple TV 4K, reportedly due Tuesday, October 13. The second is an unspecified batch of Macs, possibly in the last week of October. Everything below is attributed to the outlet that reported it. No price, availability date or final spec has been announced for the unannounced products.
Wave one: the October 13 home lineup
On September 30, MacRumors, citing Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, reported that Apple was expected to unveil a smart-home hub, a refreshed HomePod mini and a new Apple TV 4K on Tuesday, October 13. The report said it was unclear whether Apple would hold a full event video or use press releases and shorter videos. T3 covered the same reported date on October 1, as secondary coverage.

Rumored specs at a glance
| Product | Rumored details (MacRumors, Sept. 30) | Design |
|---|---|---|
| Apple TV 4K | A19 or A19 Pro chip, 8GB to 12GB of RAM, Apple-designed N1 networking chip with Wi-Fi 7, updated Siri Remote | A leak indicated it would look like the existing model |
| HomePod mini | Newer chip, Siri AI support, improved sound, N1 with Wi-Fi 7, second-generation Ultra Wideband, possible pink and green colors | No major change |
| Smart-home hub | Siri AI, square display reported at 6 to 7 inches, A18 or newer chip, FaceTime, tabletop and wall-mounted versions | Not confirmed |
The same report says the hub may run a new operating system called homeOS. Treat the name, design, hardware and capabilities as rumor. The reporting does not establish prices or shipping dates for any of the three.

On October 5, MacRumors reported, citing multiple sources familiar with the matter, that Apple was planning more announcements in the final week of October. The outlet said the exact products were unknown. It listed these as likely possibilities:
#1 Best Overall
- 4K High Dynamic Range (Dolby Vision and HDR10) for stunning picture quality
- Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 surround sound
- A10X Fusion chip for ultra-fast graphics and performance
- Voice search by asking the Siri Remote
- An M6 iMac
- A base 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6
- Long-rumored OLED “MacBook Ultra” models with a thinner, lighter design
These are educated guesses about a lineup the outlet could not pin down, not leaks of finished products.
What is already announced
Apple’s Newsroom Mac page lists Mac mini and Mac Studio announcements dated August 25, 2026, plus availability updates for both dated September 22. MacRumors adds that Apple previously announced a high-end Mac Studio with M5 Ultra and 512GB of RAM for “late October.” That timing is Apple’s own, so it is firmer than the rumors above. It also means a late-October Mac shipment would not by itself prove the rumored M6 machines are real.

Why Siri AI matters to the home products
Several rumored devices lean on Siri AI. Apple’s June 8, 2026 WWDC press release announced it, and Apple said it would arrive as a beta later this year on supported devices set to English. Language and regional availability could vary. Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, said in that release: “We’re delivering the next generation of Apple Intelligence across our platforms; introducing Siri AI, a profoundly more intelligent, knowledgeable, and capable Siri; expanding child safety features with intuitive new tools for families; and making our software platforms faster, more reliable, and more delightful than ever before.”

- HD streaming made simple: With America’s number 1 TV streaming platform,* exploring popular apps—plus tons of free movies, shows, and live TV—is as easy as it is fun. *Based on hours streamed—Hypothesis Group
- Compact without compromises: The sleek design of Roku Streaming Stick won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
That release confirms the software plan. It does not confirm any of the rumored October hardware. Because of the beta label and English-only start, a new home device’s Siri features may not all be available on day one. That is an inference from Apple’s wording, not something reported about a specific product.

T3 describes the current Apple TV 4K as an existing device whose prior version launched in 2022. If you need one this week, it is available now. If you can wait about a week, the rumored date makes waiting low-cost, though the date is unconfirmed.
