Press invitations reportedly describe an in-person “Apple Experience” in Tribeca, New York, starting at 9:00 a.m. ET. Apple has not confirmed a public livestream, and as of October 8, 2026 no products had been officially announced. The date rests on a post from Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, which 9to5Mac reported as: “Welcome home. October 13.”
Date, time and location
The event details come from two places: the teaser Joswiak posted, and the press invitations that reporters received. Both have been relayed by coverage rather than published as an Apple Newsroom event page, so treat the following as reported details until Apple publishes its own announcement.

- Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2026, per the teaser and reporting from MacRumors and 9to5Mac.
- Time: 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, per press invitations as reported.
- Location: An “Apple Experience” in Tribeca, New York, per press invitations as reported.
Is Apple livestreaming it?
Not confirmed. Macworld reported that Apple had not said whether the event would be livestreamed, and 9to5Mac reported it was unclear whether a full-length video would be posted online. Apple’s past event format suggests a hands-on press gathering with product announcements is plausible, but that format is an inference, not an announced plan. If you cannot attend or watch a stream, expect coverage to come from journalists in the room and from Apple’s own announcement materials afterward.

HomePod mini refresh
Reports point to an updated HomePod mini. Until Apple announces a successor, the current HomePod mini is the model readers can buy, and any comparison with a refresh would be speculative.
Home hub, sometimes called “HomePad”
A home hub, which reporting has also called “HomePad,” is named as a possibility. The name is a press nickname, not a confirmed product name.
