Apple’s rumored smart-home hub may come in Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and Rose Pink, according to a leak reported on October 1, 2026. Apple has not confirmed the colors—or the device itself—so treat the list as unverified.
Which colors are rumored?
Leaker pdfu said the hub may be offered in Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and Rose Pink. The claim appeared in setup-screen preview artwork for a reported Photo Face feature: according to the leaker, the preview art is selected based on the hardware color the device reports. MacRumors reported the claim on October 1, 2026, and 9to5Mac covered the same leak. The second report corroborates that the claim was circulating, not that Apple has verified it.

How solid is the four-color list?
The list has another leak-based clue: MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris reportedly found the same four colors in macOS 26.7 Release Candidate code in August. Software references and setup artwork can indicate planned options, but neither establishes which finishes Apple will actually sell.
There is also a differing description. MacRumors says Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman had described the hub earlier that week as having “Apple’s standard gray aluminum finish,” without naming other colors. That report does not rule out the four-color list; the available accounts could reflect incomplete information or plans that changed. Apple has not confirmed either description.

What is the rumored Home Hub?
“HomePad” is a media nickname, not a confirmed Apple product name. A July 28, 2026 MacRumors summary of Bloomberg reporting described a device combining a HomePod-like speaker with a display, with reported uses including HomeKit accessory management, FaceTime, photos, calendar, music, and intercom.
Other reported design details include a screen around six inches square and tabletop and wall-mounted versions. MacRumors’s October report described the tabletop design as potentially using a metal arm and round speaker base. These remain rumors, not specifications published by Apple, and could change before any announcement.

What to take away
- Reported colors: Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and Rose Pink.
- Evidence: a leaker’s description of setup art, plus a reported match in macOS 26.7 Release Candidate code.
- Status: Apple has not announced the hub, its name, its finishes, or its specifications. The four colors are possibilities, not a confirmed lineup.
