Check the live listing before ordering. In particular, confirm that it is the M5 Pro model—not an M5 Max configuration—and verify memory, SSD capacity, finish, seller, return terms, warranty, and delivery date. Apple’s specifications describe the model family, but do not confirm that every detail on a marketplace listing matches the discounted unit.

How to judge whether this sale suits you
The reported discount is most relevant if you want this specific large-screen M5 Pro configuration and its display, ports, or multi-monitor support fit your work. To compare it fairly with another MacBook Pro or a refurbished unit, line up the details that change value:
- Configuration: Compare CPU/GPU, unified memory, and SSD capacity, not just the M5 Pro name.
- Current transaction: Compare the live total price and seller, then review delivery, return, and warranty terms.
- Condition: Distinguish a new marketplace listing from Apple Certified Refurbished stock.
- Workspace fit: Consider the 16.2-inch display, 4.7-pound weight, available ports, and the external-display combinations your setup needs.
Apple’s refurbished storefront has a related 16-inch M5 Pro model in Silver with an 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU, but it is a different configuration from the reported Space Black Amazon deal. Its price and availability can change; compare the listed memory, storage, condition, and current terms directly rather than treating it as an equivalent offer.
