Apple does not publish a fixed, searchable master list of every Apple TV Aerial screensaver location. To identify the Aerial playing on your TV, tap the Apple TV Remote’s clickpad or touch surface; to browse, swipe left or right. Apple says you can choose themes, but not a specific Aerial to play. The community-maintained index below is a useful guide to recorded names—not a guarantee that every clip is currently available on every Apple TV.
How to find or manage Apple TV Aerial locations
- Identify the current view: While an Aerial is playing, tap the Apple TV Remote’s clickpad or touch surface. Apple TV displays location information for that Aerial.
- Move between Aerials: Swipe left or right on the remote while the screen saver is playing.
- Choose which themes can appear: Open Settings > Screen Saver > Aerials > Choose Aerials, then show or hide themes. Apple documents more granular Aerial selection controls in tvOS 26.
Apple’s Screen savers on your Apple TV support page states: “You can’t choose a specific Aerial to play on your Apple TV, but you can choose a theme.” A theme setting curates what may appear; it is not a searchable location picker.

Aerial screen savers are not available on Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation). Apple documents Aerial category options for Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later); menus can depend on model and installed tvOS. The number of Aerials that can be downloaded also depends on available storage.
Apple TV Aerial location and scene index
This sample of names comes from community-maintained Apple Aerial inventories, including a community spreadsheet and a technical resource listing. It is not an Apple-certified or exhaustive live tvOS catalog. Such indexes can include macOS-only scenes, historical versions, remastered clips, and entries with dead download links. Use the on-screen label to confirm the name of the Aerial actually playing on your Apple TV.

Recent additions and why online lists can differ
Apple’s tvOS 26 announcement introduced new Aerial footage captured across India, including Goa and Kerala, along with finer controls over which Aerials appear. The community index also records India-related names under Uttarakhand, including Ghansali, Himalayan, and Ganges scenes. Treat these as inventory labels: the location information shown by Apple TV is the best way to identify the clip on your screen.
Counts in community inventories should not be mistaken for the Apple TV catalog total. One technical listing reports 152 videos (71.56 GiB) for a macOS 26 inventory snapshot contributed in July 2025. Its later notes separately discuss a tvOS 26.4 feed and a different simulator-context count, and note that some Tahoe, Sequoia, and Sonoma items specific to macOS are not in the tvOS feed. The 152-video figure is therefore not an Apple TV screensaver count. A community spreadsheet marked updated in October 2025 records additions and variants, including China entries spanning October 2018 to October 2025, and marks India and Tahoe as new in that update; it also includes remastered clips and dead links.
