Apple Music is now listed as available in Albania, Brunei, Burkina Faso and Pakistan, following an update reported on September 30, 2026. The change adds the streaming service in four markets; it does not establish that every Apple service launched there or that local prices, plans and features are the same.
Which countries were added?
9to5Mac reported that Apple added Apple Music availability for four countries to its services listing:

- Albania
- Brunei
- Burkina Faso
- Pakistan
The report said the expansion brought Apple Music to 172 countries and regions. That figure is 9to5Mac’s reported total, not an aggregate published on the Apple availability page reviewed here. 9to5Mac’s September 30, 2026 report describes the update; Apple’s media-services availability page is the place to check the services Apple lists for a particular country or region.

What does the update confirm—and what does it not?
The announcement concerns Apple Music availability. It should not be read as confirmation that every Apple media service is available in all four countries. Apple also cautions that service availability and features can vary by country or region.

The cited announcement and availability reference do not establish local subscription prices, accepted payment methods, available plan types, trial offers, catalog differences or country-specific feature limits for Albania, Brunei, Burkina Faso and Pakistan. People considering a subscription should check the current country listing and the options shown when signing up in their market rather than assume terms are shared across countries.

No new hardware launch is part of this update. In its April 21, 2020 announcement of an earlier expansion, Apple described Apple Music as available across Apple devices, Android and other platforms. That historical device list provides context for the service’s reach, but it does not verify current device support or subscription terms in these four newly added markets. Apple’s 2020 announcement said the service was expanding to 52 additional countries and regions at that time; that figure is historical, not a current rollout count.
