Apple may unveil another group of devices in the final week of October 2026, according to an October 5 report by MacRumors, which cites multiple unnamed sources familiar with the matter. Apple has not confirmed a second announcement batch: the report gives no exact date, product lineup, or format.
What is known about a possible late-October announcement?
The late-month batch is a reported plan, not an Apple-confirmed event. MacRumors says the specific products are not known. A 9to5Mac summary likewise notes that the reporting does not establish a date, lineup, or whether Apple will hold a live event or announce products through videos and press releases.

Rumored Macs
MacRumors identifies Macs as the likeliest candidates, naming three possibilities: long-rumored MacBook Ultra models, a base 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip, and an iMac with an M6 chip. These are possibilities cited in the report, not confirmed launch products; it provides no confirmed specifications or availability details for them.

Possible iPad mini update
The same report says a new iPad mini is expected sometime in October, but its timing is unclear. Rumored features include an OLED display, an A20 Pro chip, a landscape-oriented front camera, and a redesigned speaker system. The device could be announced alongside home products, with late-month Macs, or at another point in October. None of those features or timing scenarios has been confirmed by Apple.
Reported home products
MacRumors also discusses a reported October 13 launch involving a home hub, HomePod mini, and Apple TV 4K. That date and lineup are unconfirmed reporting, not an official Apple event announcement.

What Apple has officially announced for October
In a September 11 Newsroom announcement, Apple said a high-end Mac Studio configuration with an M5 Ultra chip and 512GB of RAM is coming in late October. This is a separately announced configuration, distinct from the possible additional batch described by MacRumors. Apple’s October Developer page also says iPhone Duo availability begins October 23; that date does not confirm any late-month announcements.
For a buyer deciding whether to wait, the rumored devices do not yet have a confirmed lineup, specifications, or availability dates to compare with current products. A useful comparison becomes possible once Apple confirms models and details.

Could Apple hold another October event?
There is no confirmed format for the possible late-October announcements. Apple has used different approaches in recent years: MacRumors’ September 22 roundup lists an October event in 2021, press releases in 2022, an event in 2023, and press releases in 2024. That history shows Apple has used both formats; it does not predict what the company will do in 2026.
